It is becoming increasingly common for brands to issue PSAs about negative online fan discourse. Peacock did so twice over the past month as Season 7 of Love Island USA unfolded, recently asking for 'respect and kindness' as heated discourse continued ahead of Sunday night's finale.
The Summer I Turned Pretty returns to Prime Video for its third and final season on July 16 with two episodes. The remainder of the 11 episodes will debut weekly through September 17.
Based on the best-selling book trilogy from Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty he Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl, Belly (Lola Tung), and two brothers, Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.
In Season 3, it's the end of her junior year of college, and Belly's looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…
Han and Sarah Kucserka serve as showrunners and executive producers with Karen Rosenfelt, as well as Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen for wiip. The series is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip.
