Appeal after convict fails to return to open prison in Derbyshire
A search is under way to locate a convict who failed to return to an open prison in Derbyshire. Vincent Lee did not return to HMP Sudbury on Thursday after a period of temporary release on licence, Derbyshire Police said. The force said the 63-year-old is white, 5ft 5ins (1.65m), bald on top with grey hair on the sides. Police have asked anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact the force. Lee was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, grey Nike tracksuit bottoms, black boots and blue and black glasses, Derbyshire Police said.

Public 'not to approach' Spring Hill prisoner who absconded
An appeal has been made to trace a man who has absconded from an open Newell left Spring Hill Prison near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, between 08:30 and 10:30 BST on Tuesday, Thames Valley Police 36-year-old, who is originally from Isleworth, west London, has links to the Islington area, Merseyside and West Midlands, the force Sgt Matthew French said: "We would strongly advise members of the public not to approach him but to call 999 if they see him." He is about 6ft (1.8m) tall and has short brown hair, brown eyes and is of thin also has a "C" shaped scar on his left cheek, a scar on his neck and on his right wrists, and a tattoo of two guns on his right shoulder.
