‘Cyberpunk 2077' Update 2.3 Patch Notes
Cyberpunk 2077 On Wednesday, CDPR did a lengthy livestream detailing the upcoming changes to Cyberpunk 2077 that will arrive with the long-awaited Update 2.3. Now, patch notes are live ahead of its launch today. The community really needs to get a handle on expectations for these post-launch patches, and despite this being the third post-2.0 one, there are still some wild ideas about what's coming. I've seen: This makes zero sense if you've been following along, as additions here have been things like new player cosmetics, new cars and cosmetics, new photo mode features and this 2.3 patch is more of that. It's probably even less stuff than the last two patches. But still fun! Now it's time to take a look at all the relevant patch notes. Again, manage expectations: Vehicles Added 4 new vehicles, including several Side Jobs tied to acquiring them: Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru - Reward from a new side job (to unlock, complete The Hunt and The Beast In Me). An additional side job unlocks the CrystalCoat™ feature for it. Rayfield Caliburn "Mordred" - Reward from a new side job (to unlock, complete The Beast in Me: Badlands, The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo, Transmission, and Search and Destroy). Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa - Reward from a new side job (to unlock, purchase 1 Yaiba vehicle, purchase at least 3 vehicles through AUTOFIXER, and complete Reported Crime: You Play with Fire...). If you fail the side job, the vehicle can later be purchased through AUTOFIXER. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila - Available for purchase on AUTOFIXER. Introducing AutoDrive! This cutting-edge, autonomous driving feature will take you to your chosen destination (i.e. job objective or placed pin on the map). If you have no set destination, it will take you on a leisurely ride through the streets of Night City. Simply hop in any of your vehicles, make sure you're on a road, and hold H (PC) / Left Stick (consoles) to activate. This feature is disabled when you enter combat or when your vehicle is heavily damaged. Implemented Cinematic Camera for AutoDrive. Hold Q (PC) / D-Pad Right (consoles) to activate. Sit back and enjoy cinematic views of Night City as you cruise toward your destination. Self-driving Delamain cabs are now available on demand! Simply open the menu to call vehicles, then select "Delamain Cab" from the list to request a ride. This feature unlocks after completing the job Don't Lose Your Mind (regardless of outcome) and receiving a message from Delamain. Rayfield's CrystalCoat™ is now available for vehicles from partner brands, including motorcycles. Additionally, the infamous hacker known as Cosmetic_Troll exploited a vulnerability and created a cracked version of Rayfield's CrystalCoat™ technology for lower-end vehicles. Please note, however, that some models do not support the technology, such as heavily modded nomad vehicles and job-related vehicles. Photo Mode Added 27 new NPCs that can be spawned in Photo Mode, including Rita Wheeler, the Cassel twins, fixers, Dum Dum, the iguana, Brendan, and more. You can now switch between alternative outfits for NPCs spawned in Photo Mode. You can now switch between V's saved Wardrobe outfits in Photo Mode. Added a confirmation pop-up when exiting Photo Mode to prevent accidental exits after setting up the perfect shot. Added more customization options to the Look-At Camera feature, including an option for only the character's eyes to turn toward the camera instead of their entire body. Added multiple new stickers and frames, including iconic quotes and stylish overlays that let you turn your screenshots into Night City postcards – perfect for sharing memories from the City of Dreams. Improved Depth of Field and moved it to the Camera tab. Added a new Color Balance tab, allowing you to create your own custom filters. PC-specific Console-specific There are also a large number of bug fixes that you can check out here. As you can see, the focus here is almost exclusively on cars and photo mode. CDPR is determined to make up for the fact that there was really zero car customization at launch, and five years later, they're still working on it. Photo mode was actually fine at launch, but they have added so many things to it, it may be the most feature-complete photo mode in all of gaming. No exaggeration. So no, no new expansion, no third-person mode, no multiplayer. But some fun things all the same. The patch is out on all platforms today. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, Bluesky and Instagram. Mario Kart World's first post-launch patch suggests we somehow weren't getting hit with enough items as it fixes an "an issue where items were no longer able to be used"
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Mario Kart World's first post-launch patch is here, and although there are no drastic changes, Nintendo has rolled out a number of fixes for various bugs and issues, including one that suggests we're about to start getting hit with even more items. Oh no. It's fair to say that Mario Kart World has had a largely bug-free launch – in fact, after one player discovered an out-of-bounds glitch, some remarked that it was the first bug like that they'd seen in the Switch 2 racing game. Curiously, that specific bug on Dry Bones Burnout doesn't appear to be one of the things fixed here, although as outlined in the patch notes, Nintendo has "fixed an issue where you sometimes slipped through the wall before the finish line of DK Spaceport." Elsewhere, an "issue where you sometimes couldn't return to [the] correct position after falling off the course between Airship Fortress and Bowser's Castle while gliding" has been ironed out, as well as "an issue where items were no longer able to be used." I've got to say I genuinely have no idea where or when that latter one has been happening – the amount of explosions and chaos you see, especially when you're a bit further behind in a race, certainly wouldn't suggest that anyone has been struggling to use their items. Perhaps we can expect even more destruction now. The racing game has apparently been struggling with a couple of crashes, too, as issues "where sometimes the game shut down" either after an online race or after watching a post-race replay have been fixed. Up to this point, it's also been "easy for a communication error to occur when trying to join Friends playing VS Race or Battle" online, but that should no longer be a problem. Finally, if you ever found your controls were "inoperable when selecting a character and trying to start Free Roam from the Free Roam map," fear not, because that's now been fixed. What's more, "an issue where rate fluctuations were sometimes displayed incorrectly in Knockout Tour and Online Play" has been banished, hopefully meaning you should get an accurate look at your personal rating and how much it increases (or decreases) each online race. "I cannot believe how lucky of a person I am": Mario voice actor says "hearing myself" in Mario Kart World "is truly an unbelievable experience."

Fool Me Eight Times: ‘Cyberpunk 2077' Releasing Big New 2.3 Patch Soon
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty CDPR has previously made a big show of the fact that it was moving on to Cyberpunk 2077's next iteration, the sequel codenamed Orion. That involved ceasing development 2077 shortly after its 2.0 Phantom Liberty expansion dropped, but that…did not turn out to be the case. It's an ongoing joke at this point that despite the fact that CDPR says it's done with Cyberpunk 2077, they keep making new patches. And now a big one is on the horizon. CDPR has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.3 will arrive on June 26. As a full 'point' numbered patch, it's going to be a big one. Here's what happened in the last two big patches: Patch 2.1 Patch 2.2 Cyberpunk 2077 CDPR There have been other patches in between these that are mostly technical in nature or adding somewhat minor new things. But the point being, the game has received significant updates since Phantom Liberty launched in 2023. This 2.3 patch came up during a CDPR stream where they were asked about new DLC for the game. They revealed the patch was coming, but I believe they consider the above features to be technically DLC, rather than say, an expansion like Phantom Liberty. Still, there are recent hints that there may be at least some new quests in development for a future update, maybe this one, based on job listings. Why now? Well, CDPR really didn't seem to need a reason before, but this new update will come a month after Cyberpunk 2077 has launched on Nintendo Switch 2, something of a technical miracle that they were able to make that happen on a handheld system with those specs. It's a potential new audience getting to play the entire game up to patch 2.2 from the start, which is awesome. But now, 2.3 will be here soon and I'm guessing it will be similar to the last two. I cannot wait to see what it brings, and I will be reinstalling just to check it out. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, Bluesky and Instagram. ‘Elden Ring Nightreign' Is Already Being Patched To Be Easier
Elden Ring Nightreign The launch of Elden Ring Nightreign has resulted in all manner of takes about FromSoftware's adventure into a multiplayer-only co-op game. In many ways, it's a lot more punishing than the original Elden Ring and its Souls games, given mechanics like losing levels and tanking entire, lengthy runs on death. Many may say that's part of the fun, and while that may be true, even FromSoft thinks Nightreign may be pushing the limit a little too much. The developer has announced Patch 1.02, set to be released next week, which will make two changes to make things a little easier, especially for solo players. The runes thing is self-explanatory, as runs will now be more rewarding. The auto-revive for solo players on Night Lords is to combat the intense difficulties of those fights where a single wrong move can be death. So now it's…two wrong moves. Though Night Lords are hardly the only bosses that pose an extreme challenge for solo players. Elden Ring Nightreign It's not a blanket difficulty nerf, which I think most players of the game probably would not want. There are certainly mainly complaints about how hard the game is, but even if it's tougher than other FromSoft titles, I think there's a crowd that wants that. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder However, there are other significant additions players are hoping to see other than what's being offered here. FromSoft has actually apologized for the lack of duos in the game, meaning it's impossible to play with just one other friend, and that should be in development for a later update. The other issues, a lack of in-game comms past pinging and the inability to crossplay with friends, seem harder to overcome and if they were addressed, would take a long time to implement. The lack of comms especially, text or voice, seems bizarre in a wholly co-op game, and results in silent runs with random teammates you have no way to coherently strategize with, and you just have to hope everyone is on the same page. Despite being multiplayer, Elden Ring Nightreign is not a live game. It will not be pumping out content or seasons or things like that. But it will release fixes, updates and features over time. It's good they're starting off quickly here in just week one. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series and The Earthborn Trilogy.

Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.02 Aims to Fix Brutal Solo Difficulty
Elden Ring Nightreign is officially out, and a lot of players are having a tough time with the game. As a team-based game, players are having trouble finding a good party to take down the Nightlord. While solo play is possible, it's currently too difficult -- although that appears to be changing soon. Developer FromSoftware sent a tweet on Friday via the official Elden Ring account about the upcoming changes in patch 1.02. It includes two big changes that will immensely help solo runs: automatic revival and more runes. In Elden Ring Nightreign, players are dropped on the island of Limveld to survive for three in-game days to take on the Nightlord. The task is tough enough for a team, but the difficulty ramps up when playing solo, as the bosses are still a chore, as they're meant to be beaten by three players. Automatic revival is a one-time revive for solo players to take down the bosses, and it will help tremendously. Boss battles are tough solo, so being able to revive yourself will make the fights more manageable. Gaining more runes will also be a big help. Runes act both as the currency and experience points in Elden Ring Nightreign. The more you have, the higher level you can obtain, and players need to be the right level to properly defeat a boss, otherwise, they're too weak to do any damage and not survive any hits. Read more: Elden Ring Nightreign Beginner's Guide: The Essentials for Not Getting Wrecked in the First 5 Minutes Patch 1.02 for Elden Ring Nightreign will come out sometime next week. It will also add some other fixes to the game, along with improving solo play. Patch 1.01 went into effect on Thursday, right before the game's early access launch. FromSoftware didn't provide many details about the changes made in that update, but some players did say they noticed solo runs were slightly easier. Elden Ring Nightreign is available now for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles for $40. Owning the original Elden Ring is not required to play this game.
