The collision happened before the scheduled start of an event called Taste of the Bay, billed as a showcase for local restaurants and businesses. In a social media post, the Horseshoe Bay Business Association said the event was cancelled pending further notice, citing an 'extremely unfortunate' and 'unforeseen' incident.
