Ivanka Trump stuns in bold dress at Miami dinner with sister-in-law Karlie Kloss and A-list guests

A private benefit dinner on Thursday night attracted A-listers from the White House to the runway for a glitzy event in Miami. Celebrities including Ivanka Trump, Karlie Kloss, and soccer player Paul Pogba attended the Florida event to raise funds for Style Saves, a nonprofit that connects the fashion industry to philanthropy. The benefit dinner attracted celebrities with deep pockets such as sisters-in-law Ivanka Trump and Karlie Kloss to provide over 25,000 students with school supplies. Ivanka and Karlie are both married to Kushners, as the former Victoria's Secret model tied the knot with Joshua Kushner in 2018. Karlie and Joshua have previously distanced themselves from the former Trump administration advisors Ivanka and Jared Kushner. Style Saves works to provide students with high-quality back-to-school essentials. Rachael Russell Saiger, a former stylist for Vogue, founded the nonprofit and model Isabela Rangel Grutman serves as the vice president. The event featured a sit-down dinner by Peruvian Chef Valerie Chang and raised money for Style Saves' 15th annual Back-to-School event at the Miami Beach Convention Center on August 9 and 10. But the two were all smiles as they attended the posh philanthropic dinner, celebrating 15 years of Style Saves. 'Cheers to 15 years of dedication, philanthropy, and community,' the organization posted on Instagram. 'Last night's benefit dinner was a celebration of all we've accomplished, and a look ahead at the work still to be done. Thank you for being part of our story.' Style Saves shared an Instagram Reel of the celebrities mingling and listening to speeches in honor of the organization's history. The glitzy event benefited philanthropic efforts to help thousands of kids gain access to school supplies Isabela posted a separate message on social media expressing her pride at having been with Style Saves for the past decade. 'Grateful for this community, this mission, and all the lives we've touched,' she added. Isabela is married to Miami entrepreneur David Grutman, who founded Groot Hospitality, which is behind the infamous nightclub LIV. Isabela revealed that she and her husband were friends with David and Victoria Beckham, telling Aventura Magazine, 'They know they can trust us.' The organization's founder, Rachael, has worked with fashion brands including Clicquot, Calvin Klein, and Nike. She became the fashion director of jewelry brand Miansai in 2017 and volunteered with Planned Parenthood and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Rachael and Isabela serve on Style Saves' board alongside their husbands Michael and David. Style Saves is set to have its annual Back-to-School event in August, which has become one of the largest back-to-school events in the country. 'Through our purpose-driven, experiential moments, including our Back-to-School event, Mentorship program and fundraising partnerships, we've formed an alliance of dedicated thought leaders who stand firm in the powerful connection that can be made when fashion meets philanthropy,' the organization's website reads. Students and volunteers can register to participate in the event online.

(Photo by Eric Charbonneau/Archewell Foundation via Getty Images) As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's business and philanthropic efforts continue to expand, Forbes has learned that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's communications team is growing, adding Method Communications as an extension of the already established Sussex communications team, a source close to the matter tells me. The team from Method was retained by Meredith Maines, who serves as the couple's first chief communications officer following her appointment in February of this year. The source says that Method will help support Harry and Meghan's growing business portfolio and philanthropic interests and that the Sussex team is strategically building out communications efforts surrounding Harry and Meghan. In addition to the hiring of Maines earlier this year, Emily Robinson was recently brought on board as the Duke and Duchess's Director of Communications. Robinson has 20 years' experience in entertainment publicity, brand development and strategic communications and previously spent a decade at Netflix—a company with which Harry and Meghan have a close business relationship, inking a deal with the streaming service in 2020. Prior to Netflix, Robinson held communication roles at A&E Networks, Discovery/TLC, VH1 and Bravo, leading campaigns across both scripted and unscripted programming. (Photo byfor W+P) 'The expanded comms support for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex comes at a time of tremendous growth and success in various business and philanthropic endeavors,' the insider shares, pointing specifically to Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever's April launch, which sold out the brand's first eight product offerings in 45 minutes. With Love, Meghan—the Duchess's most recent Netflix offering—released its first season in March with a second season 'greenlit and coming soon,' the source shares. Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan's podcast with Lemonada Media, wrapped up its first season earlier this week (with a bonus episode featuring Tina Knowles to be released on June 3). Harry, for his part, is continuing to 'focus on the intersection of business and philanthropy' and, as Meghan has done with aplomb throughout 2025, appears to have developments on this front up his sleeve, as there will be 'more announcements on that front coming soon.' Harry continues to support the Invictus Games—which he founded in 2014 as a multisport event for injured, sick and wounded servicemen and servicewomen, both veterans and those still serving—and Travalyst, which Harry founded in 2019 to come up with sustainable solutions to travel and which he traveled this week to Shanghai, China to advance the organization's mission of supporting sustainable tourism. Harry gave the keynote address at Envision 2025 Conference in the city on May 26, where he rallied industry leaders in the Asia-Pacific market, valued at $490 billion, to adopt practices aligning with critical 2030 climate goals. More (Photo by Chris Jackson - Pool/Getty Images) 'Chief Communications Officer Meredith Maines has retained the global firm Method Communications to bolster her team overseeing the growing business portfolio and philanthropic efforts of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,' a spokesperson for the couple says. 'Method is an integrated PR and marketing agency specializing in high-growth tech and consumer brands. The Sussex team also recently welcomed Emily Robinson as Director of Communications. Method is serving an an extension of that team." In addition to Maines and Robinson, the Sussex communications team also includes senior level communications executives Kyle Boulia and Charlie Gipson, who are based in Los Angeles and London, respectively. According to Axios—which broke the news of the hiring of Maines ahead of her March start date—Maines said she was excited to help Harry and Meghan 'tell their story as entrepreneurs, builders and philanthropists while overseeing all communications for the couple and their ventures.' Other recent staffing changes for the Sussexes include the hiring of Sarah Fosmo as Chief of Staff to Meghan and the promotion of Miranda Barbot to Chief of Staff for Harry.

Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne and his wife Nigora witness ‘life-changing' surgeries

Scottish entrepreneur and philanthropist Duncan Bannatyne is currently in Morocco with his wife Nigora to support Operation Smile. The Dragons' Den star has been an ambassador for the charity, which provides free cleft lip and palate surgery for children, since 2013. The couple are there to witness the charity's Women in Medicine programme and to meet the young patients and their families as they undergo life-changing operations carried out entirely by female medics. The health clubs entrepreneur met eight-month-old Zyad, who was about to undergo surgery on a cleft palate. Bannatyne has previously visited Operation Smile missions in the Philippines, Mexico, Vietnam and Ghana. His chain of gyms has raised £45,000 for the charity over a week of events. 'I am incredibly proud to support Operation Smile and witness the life-changing impact of these surgeries,' Bannatyne said. 'The dedication and expertise of the medical teams provide hope and brighter futures for so many children. 'It was wonderful to meet Zyad before his operation and witness the transforming effect that Operation Smile has on children's lives.' On his website, Bannatyne said charity work 'often leaves you feeling depressed, and helpless thinking, 'there must be more I can do'. 'Operation Smile is different. You see first-hand a child's life changed forever by a simple operation that takes less than one hour. You see the children's new smile and the happy tears of their parents. For me, it doesn't get much better than that. 'We need to keep making this happen because there are still so many children suffering."

Norma Patteson Mills '60 Presented with Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters by Sweet Briar College

Norma Patteson Mills '60 receives honorary degree at Sweet Briar's 116th Commencement for a lifetime of generosity, leadership, and service. 'Norma Mills has a deep appreciation for the value and benefit of art and culture on the spiritual well-being, creativity, and intellectual lives of the people in the communities she serves.'— President Mary Pope M. Huston '83 SWEET BRIAR, VA, UNITED STATES, May 30, 2025 / / -- During Sweet Briar's 116th Commencement ceremony on May 17, Norma Patteson Mills '60 received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the College. In its 124-year history, this is an honor that the College has rarely bestowed on an individual. Following a lifetime of extraordinary service and generosity to many arts and cultural organizations, Norma is truly deserving of this special title. A native of Amherst, Va., Norma was interested in attending Sweet Briar from childhood. She entered the College in the fall of 1956 as a proud member of the Class of 1960, pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology. She left Sweet Briar at the end of her junior year to marry the love of her life, Olan Mills, and move with him to his hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn., although she never forgot Sweet Briar. She completed her psychology degree at the University of Chattanooga and earned a degree from the Education for Ministry Program at Sewanee: The University of the South. Throughout their lives together, Norma and Olan have been philanthropic leaders and visionary donors to numerous nonprofits and institutions, including Sweet Briar College. They have joined others in transforming the city of Chattanooga through their service and commitment to their community. In recognition of their extraordinary generosity to the College, which has supported a variety of vital purposes, Sweet Briar's Memorial Chapel was renamed the Mills Chapel in 2021. In addition to her generosity, Norma has also dedicated her time to inspiring others to give by serving on several campaign cabinets for Sweet Briar. She served on the Sweet Briar College Board of Directors and is also a former member of the Alumnae Board. She and Olan have been regular attendees at events supporting the College. Furthermore, Norma was honored with the College's Outstanding Alumna Award in 2005. As an active civic and church leader in her community, Norma's philanthropy and dedication have benefited Sweet Briar College and touched many lives. She has served on several church search committees and on the boards of numerous organizations, including the Chattanooga Children's Hospital Foundation, the Tennessee Aquarium, the AIM Center of Chattanooga, the Tennessee River Gorge Trust, the University of Chattanooga Foundation, the Episcopal Media Center, Sewanee, and the Hunter Museum of Art. Norma is the former president of the board of the Bright School, vice chairman of the Campaign for Sewanee, and co-chair of the Visiting Committee of the School of Theology of Sewanee. For their extraordinary service to the Chattanooga arts community, Norma and Olan were presented with the Ruth Holmberg Arts Leadership Award by ArtsBuild in 2024. 'Clearly, Norma Mills has a deep appreciation for the value and benefit of art and culture on the spiritual well-being, creativity, and intellectual lives of the people in the communities she and her husband are part of,' President Mary Pope M. Huston '83 said while presenting the degree during Commencement. Norma's enduring connection to Sweet Briar is a powerful testament to the lifelong impact of a Sweet Briar education. Her story reflects the values of leadership, service, and community that define the Sweet Briar experience. As our students graduate and go on to shape the world, they do so, standing on the shoulders of alumnae like Norma.
