Caitlin Clark's Teammates Grab Attention in Matching Pregame Cowgirl Outfits

Caitlin Clark is still the most popular Indiana Fever player on the court, but off of it, she has some competition. Clark's teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull have seen their social media popularities skyrocket this season. The blonde pair, who are close friends away from basketball, often go viral for their pregame outfits or off-court shenanigans. On Thursday night, Hull and Cunningham arrived for Indiana's game against the Phoenix Mercury wearing identical cowgirl outfits. They wore the same denim shorts and "Howdy Cowboy" tops; the only difference is Hull wore red boots and Cunningham chose black. The Fever showed off Hull and Cunningham's pregame looks in an Instagram post. "Seeing double 👯‍♀️Lexie Hull & Sophie Cunningham popped out in matching fits for tonight's game in Phoenix 🤠," said the caption for the post. The pictures of the two Fever guards unsurprisingly drew a slew of comments. "patiently waiting for a CC comment here," the official StubHub account commented, referring to Clark playfully chiding Hull and Cunningham for tanning this week. "Caitlin's comment is loading…" added Breaking Ground TV. "Soph seems like so much fun," another person said. "Holy iconic," chimed in a fourth. "Really look like like twins lol beautiful," a fifth person wrote. "Sisters by choice," said another. Thursday's game didn't go well for the Fever While Hull and Cunningham had fun before the game, no one on the Fever could have enjoyed the actual four quarters of play against Phoenix. Indiana trailed by 11 at halftime before a 26-11 third quarter did them in. The Mercury, who are now 19-11 on the season, outscored the Fever 48-24 in the second half to win 95-60. To her credit, Cunningham turned in the best individual performance of the night, scoring a team-high 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range. Hull, meanwhile, was ice cold, finishing with two points on 1-of-11 from the field. The Fever (17-14) will look to bounce back against the Chicago Sky at 8 p.m. ET Saturday night on CBS. Fever's Sophie Cunningham represents Arby's in unprecedented outfit before WNBA game

Sophie Cunningham always makes a statement with her pregame outfits for the Indiana Fever. On Sunday, Cunningham went with a bit of a different approach. She shouted out Arby's, the fast food roast beef chain. MORE: Sabrina Ionescu loses her mind at a ref There isn't an official record of this, but this has to be the first Arby's shirt ever worn on the way into a WNBA game, or maybe a professional sports game anywhere, anytime. That's what they call trendsetting. Cunningham has grown her fanbase greatly in her first season with the Fever, thanks to her talent on the court, her enforcer-like tendencies at times, and her popular social media accounts. And now, she's taking a new approach to the pregame 'fit. MORE: Sparks announce latest plans for Cameron Brink injury return
