US Health Agency Postpones Preventive Services Panel Meeting, Axios Says
The US Department of Health and Human Services postponed a meeting of a preventive services task force scheduled for Thursday, Axios reported, a move that alarmed some public health experts.
The US Preventive Services Task Force recommendations are tied to what services health insurers are required to cover for free under the Affordable Care Act. The Supreme Court recently gave the HHS secretary more power over the panel. HHS didn't immediately respond to a request for comment about the postponement.
