Geoff Foulds dead at 85: Snooker world mourns as former player and dad of Crucible legend and top broadcaster dies
FORMER snooker star Geoff Foulds has died aged 85.
The popular former pro played on the circuit between 1981 and 1992.
Foulds was also a terrific amateur player and triumphed at the prestigious London Championships six times during the 1970s.
His son Neal also went on to be a pro, with the pair meeting at the last 32 stage of the 1986 International Open - with the younger man winning 5-0.
