OPP seeks video footage of collision that seriously injured pedestrian

(CTV News) Police are appealing to the public for video footage of an incident that happened about two weeks ago in Severn Township involving a pedestrian collision. Provincial police say a vehicle struck an individual walking on Muskoka Street in Washago around 1:45 p.m. on May 25. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital suffering serious injuries. Police ask anyone with video footage of the area at the time of the incident to contact the Orillia OPP at 705 326-3536 or 1-888-310-1122.

Desperate search for woman, 24, last seen Friday ‘believed to be wearing green jumpsuit'
POLICE have launched a desperate appeal for information after a woman was reported missing. The 24-year-old was last seen on Friday June 6 and is believed to be in the Cardiff area. 2 South Wales Police have since asked the public for help locating missing Cara Winkworth. She was last seen wearing a green jumpsuit and a black coat, anyone with any information is urged to contact the police. South Wales Police said in a statement: "Help us find Cara Winkworth, 24. "Last seen on Friday, June 6. 5ft3 / 5ft4 and was believed to be wearing a green jumpsuit and a black coat which had a hood. "Likely to be in the Cardiff area. Contact us quoting 2500182210." 2

Moment man sets himself on fire in botched arson attack
Victoria Police have released footage of the moment a man tried to commit arson by setting a restaurant on fire in Melbourne on 21 May 2024. The unknown man poured liquid from a jerry can around the premises before accidentally setting his clothes on fire. Police have released the CCTV in an appeal to the public to help find the man.
