This year's Primetime Emmy Award nominations feature several queer performers and stars making history. Queer performers are breaking records and blazing trails this year, proving that when it comes to TV, LGBTQ+ people know how to excel. Despite some queer history being made this year, the 77th Emmys do have a diversity problem. Twenty-four actors of color earned Emmy nominations, the lowest number since 2019, when 22 were nominated.
