The third week of Sean Combs' trial began on Tuesday, May 27 in Manhattan federal court The prosecution is continuing to build its sex trafficking and racketeering case against the music mogul Combs' former stylist Deonte Nash testified about allegedly seeing the music executive attack Casandra "Cassie" Ventura and how he tried to stop himDeonte Nash took the stand during the third week of Sean "Diddy" Combs' high-profile federal trial, testifying that he saw Combs violently attack longtime girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. In 2013, Nash — Combs' former stylist — and an assistant named Mia were helping Ventura pack for the OVO festival in Canada when Combs showed up unannounced, he told the court. 'He said, 'B----, didn't I tell you to answer your phone?'' Nash recalled. Combs allegedly dragged Ventura by the hair and began hitting her, Nash testified. Calling the assault 'very hard,' Nash said Combs allegedly kept beating her until Ventura hit her head on a bed frame, causing her to bleed. Nash said he and the assistant tried to stop Combs. 'I jumped on Puff's back," Nash said. "He threw me off. Mia too," he said. But Combs kept attacking her, he testified. At one point, Combs allegedly said, 'Look what y'all made me do." Combs' security guard, D-Roc, was there during the alleged attack, Nash testified. The next day, Ventura appeared on FaceTime with a gash in her eyebrow, he said. Earlier on Wednesday, Nash testified about how Combs would often call Ventura degrading names. See Photos of Kid Cudi's Porsche After It Was Damaged by Molotov Cocktail — Allegedly on Diddy's Orders
Members of the jury in the trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs were shown photos of rapper Kid Cudi's car after it blew up in 2011. Combs, who is on trial for sex-trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, sat a few feet away from Kid Cudi — whose real name is Scott Mescudi — as the Grammy-winning rapper recounted alleged threats Combs made when he learned Mescudi was dating Combs' ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. Combs and Ventura were in an on-again, off-again relationship for over a decade. She dated Mescudi when she was going through "a rough patch" with Combs, she previously alleged in a lawsuit against Combs. Ventura had testified that Combs threatened to blow up Mescudi's car after learning of their relationship — and Mescudi testified Thursday that someone threw a Molotov cocktail into his blue Porsche soon after. He said he believed Combs to be responsible. The jury was presented with photos of the car after the explosion. Mescudi's testimony marks yet another series of bombshell revelations about Combs' alleged psychological abuse of Ventura, who alleges the Bad Boy Records founder controlled her life for the entire time they were together. Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Kid Cudi Recalls Confronting a Jealous Diddy: 'You Messed with My Dog'
Kid Cudi alleges Diddy broke into his house in 2011 He was dating Diddy's on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, at the time Diddy reportedly tried to talk to Kid Cudi several times in an attempt to "get to the bottom" of the rapper's relationship with Ventura, Cudi told the courtKid Cudi says he once tried to confront Sean "Diddy" Combs — and during the confrontation, the rapper accused Diddy of locking his dog inside a bathroom. The Grammy-winning artist, whose legal name is Scott Mescudi, took the stand on Thursday, May 22, in Combs' high-profile federal trial in Manhattan. Mescudi recalled a break-in at his home in December 2011, when he was in a brief relationship with Combs' on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. Ventura called Mescudi early in the morning on the day of the break-in, and the two got on a call with an employee of Combs', Mescudi testified. The employee 'seemed very scared" and told them Combs and an associate were inside Mescudi's house, Mescudi testified. When Mescudi contacted Combs, the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly said, "I just want to talk to you," later adding he was at Mescudi's home "waiting for you." Combs was not there when Mescudi arrived at the home, but he noticed several things out of place: gift boxes opened, his security camera turned away, and his dog locked inside the bathroom, Mescudi testified. "I was looking for [Combs]," Mescudi said. "I wanted to confront him, I wanted to fight him, you know?" He chose not to, however, and opted to call police. Later, when Mescudi was spending Christmas with Ventura's family, Combs allegedly called him several times to ask about his relationship with Ventura, he testified. "He wanted to get to the bottom of it and figure it out," Mescudi said. "But post-break-in, I didn't want to talk to him. I told him, 'You broke into my house and messed with my dog, I don't want to talk to you.'" Earlier this week, the jury heard testimony from witnesses alleging he abused Ventura and carried a trove of drugs on him, including pills with former president Barack Obama's face on them. Law enforcement officials revealed the firearm components, baby oil and pink ketamine they found in his possession during their investigation. Combs is on trial on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Why Did Cassie Bring Up Bruce Willis in Scathing Text to Diddy?
Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura appeared disheartened with the way Sean 'Diddy' Combs was keeping her out of parts of his personal life when the two were in a relationship, according to text messages read in court Thursday. Ventura appeared in court May 15, on the fourth day of Combs' sex-trafficking and racketeering trial, where a jury has heard lurid details of the music mogul's sexual fantasies and encounters — which Ventura alleges he enforced upon her for years. The pair were together for about 11 years until their split was confirmed in 2018. During this time, Ventura often expressed her frustration over not being made a bigger priority in Combs' private life, including being integrated into his life with his six children. 'It could be a little heartbreaking," she told the court during cross-examination. Related: Cassie Testifies That She Once Said Diddy Is 'Like Ike Turner' — and Said 'Nothing Good Comes Out of' Freak Offs On the third day of the trial, Ventura had told the jury that she had felt being a participant in Combs' 'Freak Offs' sex sessions had become her primarily role in his life. Her text messages revealed on Thursday showed she wanted to be more than a sexual partner to Combs — and brought up examples of other men who were doing it in a respectful manner despite having children from previous relationships. 'As much as you think you're Bruce Willis, you aren't. He's married, and before he was married, the family as a whole went on trips together or just him and his woman,' she wrote in a message in 2013, seven years into their relationship. She was seemingly making references to Willis' successful co-parenting with ex Demi Moore even after the couple split, while they each maintained healthy relationships with their new partners. 'Eddie Murphy and Paige took his kids away on their own,' she added, likely referring to Paige Butcher successfully blending in with Murphy's children from his previous relationship. 'I don't think that you sympathize with my feelings," Ventura wrote in the July 2013 exchange, explaining she had been disturbed for days at the time. "I understand you feeling like you need to protect your children but after a while…it's like for what?' Cassie Testifies Diddy Forced Her into Sex During Her Period — and Described an Especially 'Humiliating' Act
Casandra "Cassie" Ventura told jurors in Sean 'Diddy' Combs' sex trafficking trial that he forced her to have sex while she had her period, The "Me & You" singer, who is married to personal trainer Alex Fine and eight months pregnant with their child, told jurors on Tuesday, May 13 how the hip-hop mogul forced her to take part in sex encounters called "Freak Offs" that Combs often filmed. Ventura told the jury how she did whatever Combs allegedly asked of her, mostly out of fear. Related: Who Is Cassie — and Why Is She Expected to Be a Star Witness at Diddy's Trial Today? 'I was expected to have freak offs on my period," she testified. "Sean would expect it. I don't think anyone wants to do that.' Combs, she continued, or one of the male escorts hired to have sex with her, sometimes "would urinate on me" during these Freak Offs. Related: Cassie Reveals Why She Cried When Diddy Kissed Her for the First Time When Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson asked Ventura if she wanted an escort to urinate on her, Ventura replied firmly, "No. But there was no conversation. It was a turn-on for (Combs), so it happened." Ventura testified she was 'choking' because there was 'too much urine in my mouth,' sometimes from both Combs and the escort urinating in it at the same time. "I don't want anyone to urinate on me," she testified. "Sean would urinate in my mouth — not super often but often enough.'Johnson asked Ventura why she didn't say no to this. 'I was squeamish, high and in the moment with this man, so that's what happened," Ventura replied. "There is not a whole lot of control you have with two men standing over you peeing. I thought it was obvious I didn't want to do it." After a Freak Off was finished, Ventura says she was left to clean up the hotel room they were in, which was usually covered in blood and urine. Arrested in September 2024, Combs pleaded not guilty to five counts of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. On the first day of the trial on Monday, Mon. 12, in Manhattan federal court, jurors saw surveillance video of the hip-hop mogul beating and kicking Ventura in the elevator bank of a hotel lobby in 2016. Johnson told jurors in her opening statement that Combs is the mastermind behind a vast criminal enterprise he used to allegedly lure in women, drug them and force them to have sex. In her opening statement, Combs' defense attorney Teny Geragos said that any sex between her client and Ventura was consensual, as was the fact that she stayed with him for more than a decade. Combs could face up to life in prison if he is convicted on all counts. Since his 2024 arrest, he has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Complex in Brooklyn.
