Love Island viewers are left baffled as Ben re-couples with Helena stopping Harrison from choosing her over Toni - but fans have a theory about the producers' decision
Over the last week, the love triangle between Harrison, Helena and Toni has been a hot topic on Love Island.
But viewers were left baffled after Ben re-coupled with Helena, stopping Harrison from being forced to choose between her and Toni.
Monday's episode saw the Islanders asked to gather around the fire pit where it was revealed there would be a re-coupling, with the boys choosing the girl they wanted to couple up with.
First Tommy chose Emily then Georgio re-coupled with Yasmin, before Harry and Dejon stuck with Shakira and Meg.
Next up was Ben, who very unexpectedly chose to couple up with Helena - leaving viewers baffled as to why producers let him go before Harrison.
The decision meant that Harrison didn't get to finally make his decision between Helena and Toni, and ultimately ended up still with the Vegas cabana girl.
After the re-coupling, Harrison immediately pulled Helena for a chat where he said: 'I had a speech in my head for you, it was very similar for what I said to Ton.'
He added: 'I planned a speech and the whole time I was there it was obviously about you, I thought finally we'd be able to couple up. But for some reason no.
'Maybe I'm just jinxed,' said Helena. 'Maybe it's me.'
Harrison then chatted to Toni and told her that he was 50/50 on whether he was going to pick her or Helena.
Fans were left confused as to why producers let Ben choose first, as they said: 'Why did they let Ben go before Harrison, we needed Harrison to make an actual choice,';

In scenes on Monday's episode of the ITV reality show, Shakira received a text message announcing a new challenge for the villa.
She read: 'Islanders, it's time to get each others' pulses racing in tonight's Boys vs Girls challenge. #HeartthrobMode #BootyandBeats'.
The girls went first, with Toni leading the way, and attempt to raise the boys' heart rates with saucy performances.
Alima's heart-racing entrance stunned the men while Emily dressed like an angel and Shakira threw rose petals.
But it was Helena's trick that really set things off as she whispered 'I can't wait to f*** you' in Harry's ear.
