Actor best known for role in sci-fi trilogy hits red carpet with wife 31 years his junior - can you guess who?
This actor is best known for his eccentric portrayal of an inventor in an iconic sci-fi trilogy. And on Monday, the 86-year-old legend hit the red carpet at the premiere of Nobody 2 in Los Angeles with his fifth wife, who is 31 years younger than him. The Emmy winner — who made his cinematic debut alongside Jack Nicholson in 1975 — looked dapper in a black suit with a grey button-up shirt underneath. He completed the outfit with black sneakers. Meanwhile his 55-year-old wife — a former real estate agent — wowed in a high-neck floral dress. The couple, who got married in 2016, happily posed together, with the actor's arm sweetly wrapped around his wife. Can you guess who they are? He is best known for his eccentric portrayal of an inventor. Can you guess who he is? That's right! It's Christopher Lloyd and his wife Lisa Loiacono. Lloyd is best known for portraying Dr. Emmett 'Doc' Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy alongside Michael J. Fox. He now stars in the dark comedy Nobody 2 as David Mansell. The plot of the 2021 Nobody sequel follows Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk as suburban dad Hutch Mansell, who's a former lethal assassin. Mansell ends up being pulled into his violent past during a family vacation. Lloyd stars as his father, David Mansell. While on the red carpet Lloyd also posed with his co-stars Bob and Sharon Stone. Lloyd and Loiacono met in 2012, when she was helping him with the sell of his house, which he shared with his fourth wife, screenwriter Jane Walker Wood. The couple got married in 2016, four years after their meeting. Lloyd's first marriage was to actress Catherine Boyd from 1959 to 1971. He then married actress Kay Tornborg, with the two staying together from 1974 to 1987. His third marriage was to Carol Vanek and lasted from 1988 to 1991. He was then married to Wood from 1992 to 2005. Lloyd previously joked that his marriage to Loiacono will be his final one. 'Five is the last,' he told The Guardian during a Zoom interview, while also calling Loiacono 'my best fan.' Loiacono frequently accompanies her husband to movie premieres and is a familiar presence on Lloyd's Instagram page. In February, he honored her with a post of them kissing and the caption, 'Love is the answer. Happy Valentine's Day to mine.' Aside from his role in the Back to the Future trilogy, Lloyd is also famous for playing Jim Ignatowski in the comedy series Taxi (1978–1983). He won two Emmy Awards for his work on the show. The actor made his cinematic debut in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) alongside Nicholson. His other notable roles include Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993), as well as I Am Not a Serial Killer (2016).

Unfinished, unliveable: Abandoned Sydney homes sell for millions
It's half a home for nearly three times the typical price – a partially built house in Sydney's south is set to go to auction after the owner pulled the plug on a major renovation midway through the project. The house on Queens Rd in Connells Point is expected to sell under the hammer for over $4 million – well above the current median Sydney house price of $1.55 million. The rear of the property has had half of its roofing stripped, and the central garden looks like the set of a home renovation show, with a scrapheap of building materials scattered around. The house is the latest in a recent string of neglected Sydney homes to attract massive prices – many selling after scheduled renovation works were abandoned. These sales have come as builders continue to grapple with rising materials and labour costs, which has often meant many approved building and renovation projects are no longer feasible. Selling agent for the Connells Point property Rami Abdallah of Prestige Property Group said there was a reasonable level of interest in the incomplete home with Georges River views. Mr Abdallah said the home's rugged appearance is the result of a scrapped renovation. '(The owner) literally half knocked the house down, you can see from the photos,' he said. 'He was originally going to renovate and then just sat on the block of land for a couple of years and now he's decided to sell it off.' Mr Abdallah said the estimated sale price is based on the home's development potential and location near Moore Reserve. 'To me, all evidence is pointing towards a circa $4 million (sales) mark,' he said. A similarly dilapidated home was sold last weekend for over $1 million at 685 Princes Highway, Blakehurst. Belle Property St George sales partner Patrick Wedes said the property was unliveable when he first began preparing it for selling in October last year. 'It was in no state of being habitable,' he said. 'You couldn't live in it and you couldn't rent it to anybody. 'We've got holes in walls, holes in ceilings, we've got powerpoints hanging off the walls. 'None of the kitchen or bathroom facilities work. 'The power is working on the top half of the home, but not the bottom.' Mr Wedes explained that the homeowner had been admitted to a nursing home, resulting in the property becoming worse for wear over time. 'He had been involved with the property, from what we understand, since the late 60s,' he said. 'It would have been no doubt a very stately home in its time.' Mr Wedes said there were a total of 41 bids on the property which ended up selling for $1.6 million dollars. According to Mr Wedes, the property would cost at least $600,000 at trade price to refurbish, or between $1.3 and $1.5 million to rebuild.

Luxury home with views thrills on Geelong's other waterfront
New South Wales buyers have pounced on a luxury, four-bedroom two storey townhouse on Geelong's tightly-held North Shore. Maxwell Collins, Geelong agent Duncan Skene said the view was the key attractions for the buyers at 33B The Esplanade, North Shore, who were relocating to be closer to family. But he said the value of the substantial residence was incredible for a home with such a view. Mr Skene said he couldn't reveal the sale price, but revealed it was within the $1.425m to $1.525m range. Records show it's the fourth most-expensive home to sell in the tightly-held northern suburb. The North Shore residence overlooks Corio Bay with an incredible view across the water to Geelong's burgeoning waterfront. The only catch for some is the suburb is surrounded with industry. But Mr Skene said even that is no longer such an impediment for buyers, with other potential purchasers looking for a higher-end home close to their place of work. 'Other people were just looking to relocate and just wanted something with a bit of a view, but maybe not the higher price tag of Eastern Beach,' Mr Skene said. The home offers premium finishes such as square-set ceilings, a designer kitchen with stone waterfall benchtops and Smeg appliances, double glazed windows and stacking glass doors that open the main living area to a full width balcony overlooking the water. The expansive upstairs living area is ideal for entertaining or just relaxing while enjoying the stunning outlook towards the Geelong CBD. The home's lavish main bedroom suite offers a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite with a dual shower, complemented by a stylish powder room. Three more bedrooms on the ground floor offer built-in wardrobes and share a sleek bathroom and a generous family room that opens onto a rear deck and sun-drenched, north-facing back yard. The home has full airconditioning, a security system, landscaped gardens, and a remote-controlled double garage with internal access. The double-storey townhouses were developed after the original home last sold in 2017 for $1.175m, having been in the same family for more than 40 years. The suburb's most expensive home nearby sold for $3.4m in 2022 and has been a target for families with students studying at nearby Geelong Grammar School. Homes are substantially cheaper than similar properties along Geelong's Eastern Beach, where the most recent sale, a two-storey heritage terrace house at 34 Eastern Beach sold for $3.5m in 2024.
