Cross, collection plates stolen from two ‘religious establishments' in N.B.
Police are investigating after someone broke into two 'religious establishments' in the Maple Grove area of New Brunswick and stole several items.
The RCMP believes the thefts happened at a religious establishment on Road 625 in Maple Grove sometime between June 20 and June 25 and at another location on Main Street in Stanley on June 22.
Police say the person, or persons, broke into both locations and stole several brass items, including the following:
12-inch cross
collection plates
candle holder
vases
communion silverware
Police say no one was inside the buildings at the time of the thefts.
Investigators are asking anyone who lives in the area and witnessed suspicious activity between June 20 and June 25, or who may have surveillance footage from the area at the time, to contact the Keswick RCMP at 506-452-4300. Information can be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
