Three reusable water bottles that are stylish and good for the environment
WITH 2.5billion single-use plastic bottles going to landfill each year, choosing a reusable water bottle is a small contribution to going green.
For a runner like me, one with a straw is great for sipping on the move, while gym goers may prefer a flip-top.
Either way, they have all got very swanky. Today I put three to the test.
DUAL OPENING
FOR every Ocean Bottle sold, the brand pays to stop the equivalent of 1,000 plastic bottles ending up in the ocean.
What I like about its 1L version is the fact it has a dual opening.
There is the end you drink out of, but it also unscrews lower down so you can use the bigger hole to add in fruit or ice cubes and to clean it properly.
They are made from recycled stainless steel and BPA-free plastic with a double-wall insulation to keep water cool for up to 18 hours. Chunky but solid.
