Teen driver hits 13-year-old girl on e-bike in northern San Diego
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 13-year-old girl riding an electric bicycle was hit by a vehicle Sunday in the Black Mountain Ranch community of San Diego, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 9:18 p.m. on Babcock Street at Paseo Del Sur, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 16-year-old boy was driving northbound on Babcock Street in a Toyota pickup truck and made a left turn in front of the e-biker traveling southbound, according to SDPD. Both had green lights, but police say the Toyota violated the bicyclist's right-of-way and struck her.

The 13-year-old girl suffered a fractured right femur.
Police do not suspect driving under the influence as a factor in the crash.
