Seasonal speed limits return to Guernsey coastal roads
Seasonal speed limits on some of Guernsey's coastal roads have come into force for the States of Guernsey said several roads on the island would have their limits dropped from 35mph to 25mph on Sunday, remaining in place until 30 new limits are in place from Loophole Tower, opposite La Rocquette Road, to Fort Hommet access road, in Vazon, and on Route de la Lague and Route de Rocquaine, between Imperial Hotel and La Route du Coudre in the Rocquaine Bay Bot Road and La Rue des Pages have also been made one-way roads in the direction away from the coast from 10:00 and 19:00 BST, the States added.

Police probe viral road rage incident at Bukit Tambun toll plaza
NIBONG TEBAL, June 1 — Police have received two reports regarding an altercation involving two men at the Bukit Tambun Toll Plaza here, after a video of the incident went viral on social media yesterday. Seberang Perai Selatan (SPS) District Police chief Supt Jay January Siowou said further investigations were ongoing, and efforts to trace the suspects involved were being carried out by the Criminal Investigation Division (BSJ) of the SPS District Police Headquarters (IPD). 'Police detected a 28-second video that went viral on social media showing a misunderstanding between two road users at the RFID lane of the Bukit Tambun Toll Plaza, heading south, at about 5.15 pm today. 'The incident involved a rear-end collision which led to an argument, property damage, as well as allegations of physical assault and criminal intimidation by one of the individuals involved,' he said in a statement tonight. He said the video, which was recorded using a dashboard camera, had gone viral and sparked various reactions from the public. He added that investigations were being conducted under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing hurt and Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation. Earlier, a video clip had gone viral on social media, showing an argument between two men at the Bukit Tambun Toll Plaza, with one of them, who was only wearing a sarong and a cap, seen attempting to attack using a weapon before both were calmed down by another individual present at the scene. — Bernama

Traffic lights to give emergency vehicles TT access road priority
Temporary traffic lights to allow priority to be given to emergency vehicles have begun operating on an access road linking the inside and outside of the TT route runs along the heritage trail between Douglas and Braddan, allowing access to Noble's Hospital and some homes on the inside of the Department of Infrastructure (DOI) said the measure was needed as it was the only route available for vehicles to the hospital and outside of the course during road public has also been reminded that pedestrians are banned from the route when it is open to traffic during TT sessions.
