Lokesh calls for grand conduct of Mahanadu in Kadapa from May 27
TDP national general secretary and IT Minister N. Lokesh on Wednesday took stock of the arrangements for the party's three -day annual conclave, Mahanadu,scheduled to be organised in Kadapa from May 27, in a meeting with the convener and co-conveners of the organising committees.
It was stated in a press release that the first day's discussions would be focused on the TDP's policies and action plans. Resolutions would be passed on the government's development and welfare programme on the second day. These would culminate in a public meeting on the third and final day.
Mr. Lokesh and other party leaders also deliberated on the conduct of Mahanadu in the Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies' headquarters.
He told the organisers to make the State-level Mahanadu, being held in Kadapa for the first time, a grand success by clearly delegating responsibilities to the Ministers and senior leaders. He said the TDP had always organised the Mahanadu in a grand manner, whether it was in power or in the Opposition, as per the tradition set by its founder N.T. Rama Rao, with focus on doing good to the people.
Mr. Lokesh observed that the TDP faced many challenges in its 43 years of existence, but bounced back with renewed vigour with the support of the leaders and cadres, whose commitment to the people's welfare was commendable. The TDP secured an unprecedented majority in the 2024 elections, and no effort should be spared to live up to the people's expectations, he exhorted.

Prabhakar Reddy, Damacharla Satya, Reddeppagari Srinivasa Reddy, and Manthena Ramaraju took part.
