Montgomery watchdog says school system is behind on criminal history checks
Montgomery County Public Schools has about 12,000 employees who have outdated criminal history checks, according to a report released by the county's inspector general. As of March, roughly 4,900 employees haven't been screened for cases involving child abuse and neglect, the report found. The Montgomery school district, the largest in Maryland, has about 30,000 full-time and part-time school employees.

Anglophone School District South cuts library workers
