Video allegedly shows police officer pushing woman to the ground outside Bungendore High School during arrest
New South Wales Police says it's reviewing a video circulating on social media of an incident outside a Bungendore school in which an officer appears to push a woman to the ground. The mobile phone footage shows the woman hitting her head on a post as she falls. The ABC has chosen not to publish the video. In a post on social media, the Bungendore woman says she suffered severe concussion, a fractured rib and a cut on her ear during the incident, which allegedly happened on July 22. In a statement, police did not directly address the incident, but said that they were attending Bungendore High School on Majara Street at around 2:50pm that day, after reports a 15-year-old boy was allegedly threatened. Police say that while they were inside a building, another 15-year-old boy allegedly threw a rock at a car driving past, shattering a passenger window. After stopping and getting out of the car, the female driver was then allegedly threatened and chased by the boy and a 32-year-old woman known to the boy. Police and members of the public intervened and the boy was arrested. During the arrest, police allege the woman known to the boy became aggressive and tried to physically intervene. While the boy was being placed into a police car, police allege the woman again threatened the other woman. Police say the senior constable then returned and arrested the 32-year-old woman. The boy has been charged with stalking/intimidating, contravening an AVO, and destroying/damaging property. The woman has been charged with hindering/resisting a police officer in the execution of duty, and two counts of stalking/intimidating. Both were granted bail and are due to face Queanbeyan Local Court next week. In a statement, police said they are "reviewing footage circulating on social media about an incident involving a NSW Police officer on Majara Street, Bungendore, about 2.50pm, on Tuesday 22 July 2025".

Disturbing moment cop is filmed pushing over a woman from behind - as it is revealed what allegedly sparked the response
A uniformed police officer has been filmed pushing a woman in the back, who then appeared to hit her head on a metal bollard. The incident unfolded outside a school on Majara Street in Bungendore, 40km east of Canberra, about 2.50pm on July 22. Officers were called after a boy had allegedly threatened another boy and then thrown a rock through a woman's car window, smashing it. As officers bundled the boy into a police car, the 32-year-old woman allegedly went back to the car owner and threatened her again. A senior constable then returned and intervened. Footage recorded at the the scene showed an officer approaching the woman as she argued before he pushed her. The officer then told her to get up and hauled her back from the roadside as she appeared to writhe in pain. The NSW Police Force told Daily Mail Australia it is aware of the footage. No-nonsense Aussie cop gets the ultimate revenge on idiot driver who was abusing him
A senior constable has been praised for staying calm during a heated clash with a foul-mouthed driver. The Victorian police officer had pulled the man over in the early hours to issue a defect notice, immediately putting the motorist on edge. When asked to provide his name, the driver exploded. 'Well, it will say on that f***ing thing you've got there, won't it?' the furious motorist replied - pointing at the constable's computer. 'You put the rego name in and it will say who is the registered name. 'Are you f***ing alright?' I've had you p***ks.' The senior constable attempted to calm the situation, but the man cut him off, launching into another tirade. 'I've absolutely had a gutful. What you did during Covid,' he continued. 'Back right off. You don't need to be in my presence. Back the f**k off.' The no-nonsense cop stood his ground as he tried to confirm the motorist's name, pointing out that they were more than a metre apart. 'I don't feel comfortable in my space,' the motorist yelled. 'That's fine,' the policeman calmly replied. He explained to the motorist that he would get a defect notice, which started him off again. 'Oh well done. A good Tuesday for you. You're a guru,' the man replied. By now, the cop had almost had enough and gave the motorist some advice as he returned to his car to fill out the paperwork. 'You don't need to act like a d***head mate,' the policeman said. The motorist fired back: 'You're the f***ing d***head. That whole uniform's a disgrace.' The policeman replied: 'Take a seat and shut up.' The two-minute video shared by former bodybuilding champion Zoltan Banyai has racked up hundreds of comments. The vast majority of viewers leapt to the defence of the officer and pointed out that he was just doing his job. 'Police should be respected mate. He's only doing his job. Cops are tops when we are in trouble and need help they do help,' one commented. Another added: 'My god. The poor cops. How embarrassing.' A third wrote: 'Bloke yelling needs to learn how to control his emotions. I don't care what happened before the video, that behaviour is embarrassing as a fully grown adult male.'

Woman shot after pinning police officer with car repeatedly told to ‘get back'
Police warned a woman to 'get back' 10 times before she was shot dead in South Melbourne last month, after the car she was driving pinned a senior constable against a fence. The Coroners Court heard on Monday that Madeline Henry, 33, was repeatedly warned not to approach officers who were making an arrest on Dow Street. As the car approached, the senior constable drew his gun and said, 'Don't you dare drive that car up here.' He continued to warn Ms Henry to go back and used his radio to broadcast that a car was 'trying to run us over' before it mounted the footpath and pinned his leg to the fence he was standing against. He fired four shots through the windscreen five seconds after issuing his '10th direction to get back,' counsel assisting Samantha Brown said. Ms Henry died at the scene and a passenger was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound. The senior constable was also taken to hospital with leg injuries. The coronial investigation is examining Ms Henry's actions and the reasonableness of police force.
