Ben Stokes misses fifth Test with shoulder injury
Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the fifth Test against India with a shoulder injury sustained while bowling at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ollie Pope will lead England in the series decider that starts at the Oval on Thursday. It will be his fifth Test in charge having won three of the previous four.
Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse, who played in Manchester and at Lord's, are also out with Jacob Bethell in the XI for his first Test on home soil.
The selectors have gone for Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Bethell, Jamie Smith, Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton and Josh Tongue as the XI to tie up the series victory.
