Stagecoach announce 'major changes' to Gloucestershire bus services
"Major" changes are being made to Stagecoach's bus network across Gloucestershire. Updated routes will be launched in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud from September, as leaders from the bus firm said they recognised there are ways they can do things changes will include increasing the frequency of existing routes, updating some and introducing others. It is being paid for, in part, with money from Gloucestershire County Council (GCC). A GCC spokesperson said it will be a "major step forward" in improving services. Councillor Roger Whyborn, cabinet member for sustainable transport and road safety, said a lot of services will be more frequent. "Especially on the vital artery from Cheltenham town centre to Cheltenham Spa station. And more stops will be reached," he said. "We have much more to do across the whole county to improve services and connections, but it's an important step in the Bus Service Improvement Plan."Gloucestershire bus campaigner David Redgewell called it the biggest changes in Cheltenham "in 33 years"."There's a lot of improvements," he said. What are the changes? Among the changes, service A in Cheltenham will become more frequent, running every 12 minutes. It will also extend beyond GCHQ to Arle Court Transport Hub, linking it to Park and Ride facilities and the national coach network.A new service F to Warden Hill and Hatherley will pass near to Cheltenham General Hospital, alongside existing services L and 94 will be split into services 94/95. The new 95 service will provide a link from Bamfurlong Road past Gloucestershire Airport which is not currently served by public transport. Both services will be rerouted to link the three main Gloucestershire University journeys will run on service 2/2A giving a frequency of 15 minutes between Gloucester and Upton St Leonards and the 64 between Gloucester and Stroud will be increased to run every 30 minutes at peak times.

DFWAC hosts interactive meeting with external clients to enhance service quality and user experience

The Meeting provided an opportunity to present key outcomes of the Foundation's programs and services, discuss challenges faced by clients, and review suggestions for enhancing service quality and ensuring long-term sustainability to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction The External Clients Meetings are part of the ' Imprint' initiative, launched by the Foundation in 2022. This initiative comprises a series of pioneering projects, including regular engagement Meetings with both internal and external clients, as well as an annual survey that evaluates the client experience across three core dimensions: satisfaction, trust, and quality. Additionally, the Foundation is preparing to launch the Service Design Challenge from the Client's Perspective later this year, a project designed to strengthen client engagement and position clients as key partners in the journey towards continuous improvement and service excellence. During the session, HE Shaikha Saeed Al Mansouri emphasized the Foundation's belief in the importance of collaborative work with clients and the value of listening directly to their voices. She noted that these sessions reflect the Foundation's ongoing commitment to understanding clients' real needs, drawing inspiration from their insights, and integrating their constructive feedback into developing more comprehensive and impactful services She added that the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children places the highest priority on client experience and strives continuously to enhance its programs and services to meet expectations and improve quality of life. This is achieved through psychological and social support programs, comprehensive rehabilitation services, and holistic care offerings provided around the clock, with a focus on empowering women and children to reintegrate confidently into society and rebuild their lives with safety and stability The Meeting also featured a special recognition of a group of clients who demonstrated exceptional engagement and contributed valuable feedback and suggestions that helped enhance service quality.
