The Luxus Is a Couples Sex Toy That Relies on Magnets and Movement

Sex toys geared toward partners are hit or miss. It's usually a singular device that tries to pull double duty, pleasuring both parties simultaneously. But the Luxus tries something a little different. It's a new brand from Kiiroo, a company that has been making sex toys since 2012. Luxus has two components: a cock ring and a clitoral vibrator. The cock ring can, for obvious reasons, be used hands-free once you slide it on the penis, but I wasn't sure how that was going to work with the clitoral stimulator. The company sent me three accessories for the stimulator: a finger grip, a body-safe reusable sticker, and a harness (the latter is sold separately). When my partner put on the cock ring (LuxHim) and I fastened the clitoral vibrator (LuxHer) to my body with the harness, we were ready to roll. Magnetic Attraction Courtesy of Luxus As our bodies got closer and started to move, the vibrators followed suit thanks to magnets. There's a magnet in the LuxHim, and a magnet sensor in the LuxHer. So with every movement my partner made, my vibrator was right there stimulating me along the way—the faster he moved, the stronger the vibrations I experienced. As much as I loved this aspect, once my partner stopped moving, so did my vibrator. If you want to keep the stimulation going for both partners, sticking to some movement is key in making that happen. No movement on my partner's end meant no synced clitoral vibrations on my end, and considering this is a couple's sex toy, that seems fair. It's also, for those who prefer something discreet, whisper-quiet. I have nothing against loud toys, but I do find that when I'm using sex toys for couples, the quieter the better, so neither partner is distracted. If you're out with your partner and get home, horny and aroused as hell, this isn't the time for Luxus. It's in these moments that, if you want to add a sex toy to the equation, it's best to reach for something like the Crave Vesper Mini or the Dame Hug to amplify your sexual experience. With these products, you don't have to mess with syncing anything and can immediately get to business. The Luxus requires a little bit of planning. Set aside an afternoon or evening where you know you won't be rushed and can prolong the fun activities before heading into orgasm territory. Luxus isn't designed for a one-and-done quickie before bed but rather a sexual journey—after all, it can last up to five hours when fully charged. The LuxHer also isn't dependent solely on LuxHim for vibration. To do this, just move through the modes via the button on top of the vibrator.

EXCLUSIVE The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star reveals the surprise (and X-rated) item she's been offered the most to promote

A star on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives have revealed the surprise item she has been offered the most to promote online. The answer: sex toys. Mayci Neeley told at the season two premiere of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that the most lucrative pitches come from 'vibrator deals.' 'I feel the highest deals are always vibrator deals,' Mayci, 30, explained when asked about the craziest items she had ever been asked to promote. Despite the high numbers, the price has yet to tempt Mayci into doing a post for the X-rated product. 'We both turn 'em down,' Mayci said, referring to herself and co-star Mikayla Matthews, 25. 'The price has to be so crazy for me to accept it, and the price hasn't been right enough yet. Like they're high offers,' she said, adding the proposed deals weren't 'high enough' for her to accept. Whitney Leavitt revealed on season one of the show that she was offered $20,000 to promote vibrators by Bellesa Boutique, a partnership she initially grappled with and faced pushback from family over before accepting. But now the influencer, 32, proudly embraces the decision and has two posts up on her Instagram happily promoting the sex toys. Asked about the wildest item she has ever been asked to promote, she told 'Mine was a vibrator one. That's been the craziest and I did it!' Co-star Demi Engemann was in agreement in regards to the wildest brand deal pitched to them, adding she was happy to shine a light on such a 'taboo' subject. 'They pay so well,' she told 'It's awesome because it's something that like we're so down to promote. 'It's such a taboo topic that should be talked about, it's under talked about. And so for me, it's like, that's awesome, I'll do that.' She did not specify how much the offer was, only coyly stating, 'A price.' Viewers may recall Whitney considering the Bellesa offer on season one of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. 'All I have to do is hold it and take a picture, like just me, and post it on Instagram. Like that's it,' she told her pals of what the company wanted her to do. However, she feared how her family would react to her promoting a sex toy in light of their conservative Mormon faith. 'In the Mormon religion, we're very conservative. I worry about the people I grew up with, specifically my family, seeing me promote this sex toy because it's very, very taboo,' she said in a confessional. She ran the offer by her mother and sister, who both were not completely sold on the idea and had their own issues with it. Her mother, specifically, said the subject matter was a 'private, personal' one that should only be discussed between a couple. 'I think it's a personal thing between you and your partner,' she said. When Whitney pointed out that the product was also for single women, her mother replied: 'I think when you're seeking pleasure, it can just get out of hand.' Ultimately, Whitney decided to take the offer - and her mother appeared at peace with her choice. 'You hate it! You hate it so much!' Whitney said when she landed on her decision. 'Well there's lots of things I don't agree with,' her mother said. 'But that's okay.' A jubilant Whitney proudly plugged the brand in a video showing off her colorful collection of Bellesa vibrators. She raved: 'For the people who are asking me how I'm doing, well, I stay unbothered living happily with my husband with my 20k brand deals and my many, many vibrators!' Season two of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star premieres on May 15 on Hulu.
