Brooklyn Beckham to end family feud TODAY with pals revealing how he's set to extend huge olive branch to parents

IT was the sweetest show of sibling love - a carousel of five intimate, unseen photos of Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham and his wife Nicola with his beloved baby sister Harper Beckham. 'We love you so much,' reads the caption, 'The best little sister in the whole world.' 8 8 8 Fast forward 12 months on from Harper 's 13th birthday and sources tell us Brooklyn could today end his long-running feud with his family - by reaching out to his little sister Harper as she turns 14. The aspiring chef has had no contact with his famous parents David and Victoria for months after a row over money tore a wedge between them. Those close to Brooklyn, 26, said they believed he would reach out to Harper because of their close bond. If he posts publicly, it will be the first time Brooklyn has referenced his family in months - with him accused of snubbing Victoria and David on social media on significant days, including Mother's Day and David's 50th. 'Brooklyn and Harper were always incredibly close,' a source tells us. 'He adores her and so does his wife Nicola. They had an incredibly close bond and despite everything that has gone on, Brooklyn idolises her. 'Brooklyn could end this nonsense by reaching out to Harper, both privately and publicly, and many believe he will do this today. 'Harper means the world to Brooklyn. Although things have been strained between him and his parents, there is no way he'd want it to affect Harper. 'He is her big brother and nothing will ever change that.' PARENTS SNUBBED The Sun revealed how Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, had returned to London to film a huge Moncler advert campaign in London in May. He was just minutes away from the Beckhams' home in Holland Park but failed to reach out. Those close to Brooklyn said at the time the shoot had a quick turnaround and that their schedules had not lined up. But many believe Brooklyn's decision to not see his family was another slight - after he missed all three of David's 50th birthday celebrations in Miami, London and France. Last month, insiders told The Sun about the real reason behind Brooklyn's rift with his parents, explaining it was sparked by a row over money. Brooklyn and Nicola, who wed in April 2022, have bought a palatial new home in the states which cost them just over £10.5million. Those close to Brooklyn and Nicola claimed that David and Victoria were 'tight' and hadn't helped out with financing the move. But those close to the Beckhams claimed this was 'nonsense,' adding: 'David and Victoria will always support Brooklyn if and when he needs it. 'When he was setting up on his own, they would regularly help him out — as parents do — but they won't spoil him. They still help all their grown-up kids.' SOCIAL MEDIA DIGS Earlier this year The Sun told how David and Victoria were 'anguished' by how far the feud had gone. A social media post by Brooklyn, which those close to the Beckhams said felt 'pointed', saw Brooklyn saying to Nicola: 'I always choose you baby.' Insiders close to the former Spice Girl and ex England captain said they were 'devastated' by the lack of contact and said they believed Nicola was 'controlling' Brooklyn. 8 8 8 A source added: 'It shows how much this situation with his family has escalated. 'It's very sad for everyone involved, especially David and Victoria who love him very much. This isn't the Brooklyn his family knows and loves. 'This post was like a dagger to their hearts but they will always be there for Brooklyn.' Those close to Brooklyn however insisted there was nothing sinister about the post, telling The Sun: 'They are unbelievably smitten, and for him, social media is another way of showing his love. 'Brooklyn would be happy to meet his parents behind closed doors and hopes for a reconciliation.' HARPER'S HELPING HAND Now it is hoped that Harper's birthday could prove to be the antidote to the ongoing feud. 'If Brooklyn doesn't reach out it would be astonishing,' our insider added. 'But everyone who knows him knows how much he loves his sister. 'No matter what is going on with the rest of his family, he is devoted to Harper. 'To not message her would be awful but Brooklyn's friends are convinced he will reach out.' 8 8

Slags by Emma Jane Unsworth: Deeply wise and hilarious

Slags Author : Emma Jane Unsworth ISBN-13 : 978-0-00-834721-5 Publisher : The Borough Press Guideline Price : £ 16.99 Sarah Hudson is an angsty, workaholic Mancunian, still single in her early 40s and about to kiss goodbye to her inner self: a traumatised wee lassie persistently besotted with her childhood English teacher. Sarah has appetites; she's a 'caner', an enthusiast for drugs, booze, and bedding rock'n'roll singers. She reckons on a window of sex before the inevitability of post-menopausal invisibility. Deciding on a Scottish safari with her sister Juliette, they go on a motorhome tour of distilleries, more nip than tuck, more win a bag of coke than Winnebago. A road trip then, a novel about sibling love and rivalries. They stagger up to Ullapool and Cape Wrath, John O'Groats and Aviemore, fuelled by shots of Highland Park, Talisker and The Singelton. Sarah and Juliette expose their vulnerabilities, their worries over an ever-shrinking circle of friends, their Corryvreckan spiral of decline in self-esteem. A voluptuous melancholy that has Sarah determined 'she would try to let people into her broken little house of horrors'. In tone, Slags is an earthy blend of Emma Cline and Ed Atkins with a similar fixation on solipsistic inner interrogations and the palliative use of food in the face of existential despair. All this delivered in Sarah's droll confessional, her voice echt , as brightly true and un-phony as that of Holden Caulfield . Unsworth's story is packed with pithy diagnostics, conspiratorial giggles: hers is an absurdist humour of recognition over modern life's humiliations. A weird and wacky world obsessed by gut health and generalisation about generations, where 'Gen Z-ers will respect your pronouns but not you as a person'. READ MORE Unsworth is also hypersensitive to the othering of single women, the endless questioning: 'Found anyone yet?' She has too a supremely delicate sympathy to 'the eternal book balancing of siblingdom' and its bottomless 'layers of subtext', the She Ain't Heavy debts and denials. [ Emma Jane Unsworth on postnatal depression Opens in new window ] Life for the sisters is, in Powell and Pressburger's memorable phrase about postwar Vienna, 'hopeless but not serious'. This is a deeply wise and hilarious novel about a pair of clever romantics who 'always get a bit lost' and where there's no such thing as closure.

Kate Middleton's Brother James Middleton Admits Sibling Relationships 'Can Be Complicated'

Kate Middleton is the eldest of three siblings, born ahead of sister Pippa Middleton and brother James Middleton. James opened up in a new interview about his bond with his two sisters and his mother Carole Middleton, and shared that, when it comes to Kate and Pippa, they're not just his sisters, but friends. James added that Carole, Kate, and Pippa were there for him during some of his lowest times, and that he feels 'incredibly fortunate.'In a candid new interview, Kate Middleton's younger brother James Middleton is opening up about how he feels 'incredibly fortunate' to have sisters Kate and Pippa Middleton 'not just as siblings, but as friends.' Speaking to The Mirror, James said, 'They've seen me at my best and at my lowest, and they've always been there when I needed them. Sibling love is something unique—you can't choose your siblings. It can be complicated, it takes work, but when it's strong, I believe it's one of the most powerful bonds there is.' Of Kate, Pippa, and their mother Carole Middleton, James said of the trio that 'They've always been emotionally open, expressive, and in tune with the people around them, and I think being surrounded by that kind of emotional intelligence rubbed off on me, even if I didn't fully realize it at the time.' 'Looking back, I think it gave me permission, in a way, to feel things more deeply and to name those feelings when they came up,' James added. 'That doesn't mean I always found it easy. In fact, like a lot of men, I struggled with expressing how I was doing when I was at my lowest.' James has openly spoken about his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts in the past (including in his 2024 book Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life), and he shared that 'having strong women around [him] who led with compassion and honesty' helped him appreciate vulnerability: 'It probably laid the groundwork for me being able to open up later on, whether in therapy, writing the book, or just in honest conversations with the people I love. And for that, I'm incredibly grateful,' he said. Earlier this month, James shared with The Times that Kate's cancer diagnosis last year 'was a challenging time,' but that he offered 'support and help' where he could. 'Being there for someone is such an important part, and it doesn't necessarily have to be on your terms and it shouldn't be on your terms,' he said. 'It should be on their terms—unconditional. 'I'm not doing it for something in return, I'm doing it because I love you.'' James added, 'And that's the simplest way of really demonstrating love. You can do it in all these various fancy ways, but actually, you know, it is just generally being there.' Read the original article on InStyle

Duchess Catherine's brother opens up about unique bond

The Princess of Wales' brother has opened up about their unique bond. James Middleton, 38 – who has been open about his mental health issues - explained he has always relied on his family, including big sister Duchess Catherine, 43, to help him cope. He told The Mirror: 'I'm incredibly fortunate to have my two sisters, not just as siblings, but as friends. 'They've seen me at my best and at my lowest, and they've always been there when I've needed them. 'Sibling love is something unique, you can't choose your siblings, it can be complicated, it takes work, but when it's strong, I believe it's one of the most powerful bonds there is.' Speaking about his family, he went on: 'They've always been emotionally open, expressive, and in tune with the people around them, and I think being surrounded by that kind of emotional intelligence rubbed off on me, even if I didn't fully know it at the time. 'Looking back, I think it gave me permission, in a way, to feel things more deeply and to name those feelings when they came up. 'That doesn't mean I always found it easy. In fact, like a lot of men, I struggled with expressing how I was doing when I was at my lowest. 'But having strong women around me who led with compassion and honesty definitely helped me learn that vulnerability wasn't weakness, it was strength.' James – who married French financial analyst Alizee Thevenet in September 2021 before welcoming son Inigo in 2023 – had an idyllic childhood in Berkshire with parents Carole, 70 and Michael, 75 and sisters Catherine and Pippa, 41.

Property Brothers Star Drew Scott's Kids Parker & Piper Are Twinning — & Snuggling! — in Rare Photo

Drew Scott and Linda Phan's children are the snuggliest kiddos on the block, and it's the cutest thing you'll see today. On May 17, the Property Brothers star shared a snapshot of his two kiddos, Parker and Piper, on his Instagram. He shared the photo with the caption reading, 'Sibling snuggles🥰. Love seeing Parky as a big bro!' We see the adorable siblings snuggling together, twinning in neutral-toned onesies and their iconic dark hair. Not only does this rare pic make us 'awww,' but it just shows how close the two already are! And this isn't the first time we've seen the two snuggle up this year. Back in Feb 2025, they chaotically cuddled each other, and their papa, who he posted on social media with the caption reading, 'If we ain't workin', we ain't brushing our hair. #bedhead.' For those who don't know, Scott and Phan met at a Toronto Fashion Week event in 2010, hitting it off soon after. They later married in 2018. After 12 years together, they welcomed their son Parker James, born in May 2022, specifically on their fourth wedding anniversary. In early 2024, they announced they were expecting another baby, and on June 5, 2024, they welcomed their daughter Piper Rae. Back in 2023, during an interview with Drew and Jonathan, Drew talked about what being a father meant to him. 'I don't want to be the dad who's off filming and works all the time. The traditional stereotypes are not of interest to me. Linda and I both want to be impactful in Parker's growth,' he said. 'There's no perfect parent or perfect dad and families look different for everyone. As long as you're someone who's giving your all, giving a lot of love, showing love, and encouraging your kids to be kind, you're doing the job.'Best of SheKnows 19 Celebrity Stepparents Who Have a Tight Bond With Their Stepkids I'm 29 Weeks Pregnant, & Comfortable Sandals Are a *Must* This Summer—These Are the Best Ones on the Market Recent Baby & Toddler Product Recalls Every Parent and Caregiver Should Know About
