Parent arrested for allegedly threatening youth during soccer game

York Regional Police have arrested a parent for allegedly threatening a young player on the opposing team of a youth soccer game, forcing the match to conclude.
The incident occurred on June 20, police claim, during a game in the Dufferin Street and Highway 407 area in Vaughan, Ont.
Gianni Luciani, 53, has been charged with one count of uttering threats, according to a police news release.
