'Fantastic Four' Star Ioan Gruffudd's Ex-Wife Demands An Increase In Monetary Support For Their Kids
Alice Evans is prepared to slug it out with her ex-husband Ioan Gruffudd as she seeks an increase in the money he pays in child and spousal support since their divorce. Gruffudd is fighting against her claims and has accused her of embarking on several phony schemes "as a fraudulent way to strong-arm me into paying more support than I can afford." The "Fantastic Four" actor also accused her of manipulating their children to send him emotionally blackmailing messages parroting her claims, but Alice Evans denied it in a new court filing. Alice Evans Claims She Has 'Burned Through' Her Savings And Needs More Support From Ioan Gruffudd Alice Evans' acrimonious divorce battle with her estranged husband, Ioan Gruffudd, has reached a new fever pitch with the actress demanding urgent financial assistance from him to prevent her and their two daughters from becoming homeless. According to the Daily Mail, the former couple is set to head to court on Wednesday as Evans seeks to secure an upward review of the $4,500 that Gruffudd pays her in child and spousal support each month. Court documents obtained by the news outlet show that Evans claims she's languishing in poverty and is so broke that she had to borrow money from friends as well as set up a GoFundMe account that raised $18,000 in donations. She explained that she and her daughters, Ella and Elsie, were evicted from her L.A. home because she couldn't afford the $6,500 per month rent and has had to "burn through" her savings to pay living expenses and legal fees. Ioan Gruffudd Contends With Alice Evans' Claims Gruffudd has hit back at her claims in a court filing of his, saying that she "purposely got herself evicted… intentionally ceased paying rent and instead took the children on a vacation trip to Europe." The "Hornblower" actor stated that his ex-wife did that to "support her false public narrative of financial destitution in an attempt to further harm my reputation," as well as devise a "fraudulent way to strong-arm me into paying more support than I can afford." He also offered up subpoenaed bank records, which purportedly showed that Evans is far from being broke and made more than $130,000 in 2024 and is expected to earn a similar amount this year, a claim that Evans called "false and misleading." Ioan Gruffudd Claims Alice Evans Is Manipulating Their Daughters As He Shares Bizarre Text Messages In the legal document filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Gruffudd explained how he was "mortified" to have received "dozens of stressed messages from our minor children in which they have parroted Alice's false and manufactured claims of becoming homeless in the immediate future." One message read: "Mummy works very hard and also looks after us 24/7. You are avoiding the issue, which is that you don't want to work. It's not mummy's fault, it's yours. You left us, and now you can't provide for us." Another said: "You need to get a job daddy. Looking after your girlfriend is not a job. You are a father who has abandoned his children and doesn't see them or talk to them. You don't even send Christmas presents. It's pathetic and everyone sees you." "Ps, if there is enough money for us never to become homeless, then why aren't you helping us out? You hate mummy more than you love us," the message read. Alice Evans Denies Manipulating Their Kids Evans has since denied Gruffudd's claims that she's manipulating their children to send him those disturbing messages. "I absolutely did not ask the children to send messages to (Gruffudd) about our eviction and pending homelessness," she said, per the Daily Mail. "The children are well aware of our financial distress and the eviction," Evans added. The Actress Made A Public Plea For Help, Claiming She And Her Kids Could Become Homeless Evans had made a public plea for fans to donate funds to her as her financial situation had become "dire" following her divorce from Gruffudd. In a social media post, she noted that she'd hit "rock bottom" and begged fans for a spare room, explaining that she and her daughters "have nowhere to go." "I'm so embarrassed about this. If you're here, you know my story. You know how much I struggle to keep my two girls healthy and happy and a roof over their heads," she said. "You know what I've been through. It never ends. I'm just getting squeezed in every which way and smeared in the media so that nobody even wants to employ me." Solve the daily Crossword

Denise Richards' Divorce From Aaron Phypers Gets Ugly: ‘He Says She Needs to Pay Up,' Says Source
Beautiful Denise Richards was blindsided by husband Aaron Phypers' shocking divorce filing — and now The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is dreading the prospect of getting taken to the cleaners by her ex, sources say. Not only is Aaron, 52, angling to cash in at 54-year-old Denise's expense, he's also adding the insult of plotting a humiliating tell-all about their six-year marriage, insiders confide. 'This divorce is getting nasty very quickly as he's demanding a fortune from Denise,' an insider says. The wellness guru says he has no income and didn't list any assets, property or money in the bank and is seeking spousal support, according to divorce papers cited by Us Weekly, which were filed July 7 in Los Angeles Superior Court. 'I had to close down my business last year and have made [no] income since,' he explains in the petition, as per the outlet's report. Aaron shuttered his Malibu wellness center, Quantum 360, after being sued for alleged fraud by a late patient's widower in a case that's ongoing. Now, he's asserting that his soon-to-be ex-wife earns over $250,000 a month from her OnlyFans account, promotions and reality shows — such as the recently wrapped Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. Aaron listed his monthly expenses at a whopping $105,000 — including $8,000 for utilities, $10,000 for groceries, $15,000 for dining out, $5,000 for laundry and $20,000 for clothes. 'Denise is obviously telling people that there's no way she earns $250K a month,' the insider says. 'The expenses he's detailed are insane, but he's saying he's got receipts … and he's got a strong lawyer.' The insider says Aaron also has the ability to make the split even messier — by dishing dirt on Denise and their marriage — as he's been 'taking notes.' The insider adds, 'Denise can squawk and balk all she wants, but he says she needs to pay up. No one would be surprised if he goes for at least half of her $6 million fortune.' 'She's willing to fight tooth and nail to make sure he doesn't walk like a bandit with her cash.' Solve the daily Crossword

Denise Richards's husband, Aaron Phypers, files for divorce after 6 years of marriage
Aaron Phypers has pulled the plug on his nearly seven-year marriage to Denise Richards. The actor filed for divorce from the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum in Los Angeles on Monday. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, he listed July 4, 2025, as their separation date and cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split. Phypers, 49, requested that the court grant him spousal support. The self-employed businessman, who revealed he has not earned income since shutting down his wellness company last year, claims that he and Richards's monthly expenses total $105,000. As part of his community and quasi-community property declaration, Phypers requested that he and Richards, 54, divide their Smoke & Mirrors Entertainment company 50/50. He stated in his petition that he and Richards have no minor children together. Her reps did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Phypers was once in the process of adopting the 'Wild Things' star's 13-year-old daughter, Eloise Joni. 'He's amazing as a Daddy,' Richards gushed during a 2019 interview on 'The View,' per People. 'He's amazing with my daughters, and he's adopting my youngest, so it's really great.' The actress initially adopted Eloise in 2011. Aside from Eloise, Richards also shares two adult daughters — Sami Sheen, 21, and Lola Sheen, 20 — with her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, to whom she was married from 2002 to 2006. Phypers, meanwhile, previously wed 'Desperate Housewives' star Nicollette Sheridan in 2015 but called off their marriage a year later. Richards and Phypers, who tied the knot on Sept. 8, 2018, worked together on several business endeavors, including the TV personality's OnlyFans account. During a 2022 interview on SiriusXM's 'Jeff Lewis Live,' Richards claimed her now-estranged husband photographed 'a lot of [her] content.' Phypers also made several appearances on 'RHOBH' and starred on Richards's latest series, 'Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.' Despite Phypers listing his and Richards's separation date as the Fourth of July, the latter seemed to be in good spirits that day as she posted a patriotic bikini photo via Instagram. 'Red, white, and a little bit ooh la la ,' she captioned the spicy snap. Solve the daily Crossword

Alice Evans shares thinly veiled post of a chessboard saying 'you lost!' hours after ex Ioan Gruffudd revealed gut-wrenching texts from their daughters amid their venomous split
The venomous war of words has been ongoing since the couple split in 2021 when the Welsh actor, 51, began a relationship with his now-wife Bianca Wallace, 32, and the former couple are now in the final stages of a bitter spousal support battle. Ioan has now taken the extraordinary step of releasing a series of distressing messages sent to him by daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11, which can be read in full in Alison Boshoff's latest Mail+ article. Amid the ongoing dispute between the pair, Ioan revealed that his eldest daughter Ella, 15, had been begging him for money over concerns that Alice and their two children would be evicted from their Los Angeles home. While Alice, Ella, and Elsie appear to be in a desperate living situation, Ioan has claimed that Alice's financial crisis has been manufactured by the actress in order 'manipulate him into giving in to her financial demands'. Just hours after her ex's extreme measures were shared online, Alice posted a thinly veiled post of a chessboard with the king piece highlighted in red. The venomous war of words has been ongoing since the couple split in 2021 when the Welsh actor, 51, began a relationship with his now-wife Bianca Wallace , 32, and the former couple are now in the final stages of a bitter spousal support battle (pictured together in 2016) A message flashed up saying 'you lost!' as she appeared to make a pointed remark about her ongoing divorce battle with Ioan. In a bid to try and prove that his daughters were being manipulated by Alice into believing they were struggling for money, Ioan filed documents to he Los Angeles Superior Court including messages from Ella. One message read: 'Mummy works very hard and also looks after us 24/7. You are avoiding the issue which is that you don't want to work. It's not mummy's fault it's yours. You left us and now you can't provide for us.' Another said: 'You need to get a job daddy. Looking after your girlfriend is not a job. You are a father who has abandoned his children and doesn't see them or talk to them. You doesn't even send Christmas presents. It's pathetic and everyone sees you. 'Ps, if there is enough money for us never to become homeless then why aren't you helping us out? You hate mummy more than you love us.' In the report, Ioan claimed he was 'mortified' to receive the messages from his daughters where they 'parroted Alice's false and manufactured claim of becoming homeless in the immediate future'. It comes after Alice thanked her fans as she issued a housing update, after turning to them to help her support her children amid her financial troubles. In May, she claimed in court documents that she was about to become homeless because her financial situation had become 'dire' following her bitter divorce from Ioan. She claimed she would be on the streets by June 1, because she could not pay her rent and all the shelters in Los Angeles were full. Alice then created her own Divorce fundraiser, setting up a GoFundMe which has so far raised $18,532 (£13,620) - which ensured that she her daughters and her dog Emma now have a 'roof over their heads' and had retained their possessions. She voiced her gratitude to fans for donating, gushing: 'We could never, ever have done this without the incredible love and kindness from all of you. Honestly I was at my wit's end and you saved me.' However, the star previously admitted she had felt ashamed to have to turn to the public for help, penning: 'I'm so embarrassed about this. If you're here you know my story. 'You know how much I struggle to keep my two girls healthy and happy and a roof over their heads. 'You know what I've been through. It never ends. I'm just getting squeezed in every which way and smeared in the media so that nobody even wants to employ me.' Alice previously claimed that ex Ioan was living in comfort in a $5,500 a month apartment with a home gym while she and their two children cannot afford 'basic necessities'. She accused her ex-husband of 'intentionally' turning down acting gigs to keep his income low during their split and avoid having to pay her more. Earlier this year, Ioan and his second wife Bianca announced they were expecting their first child together on Instagram last month, just two months after tying the knot. Sharing the news, they posted a sweet black and white photo of Ioan kissing his wife's growing baby bump, with the caption: 'Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!' In April, Ioan and Bianca took to their respective Instagrams to share a video of them tying the knot in a romantic ceremony, captioned: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.' While the pair divorced in July 2023, they are still battling fiercely over spousal support and custody and financial support for their two daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. At the September 9 court hearing, Judge Josh Freeman Stinn signed off on a stipulated agreement in which Ioan pays $3,000 a month temporary child support and $1,500 a month temporary spousal support until another February 13 hearing where a more permanent support arrangement will be forged. Ioan planned to call his then-fiancée Bianca as a witness at the February hearing to testify that his ex wife 'stalked, harassed and abused' her, repeatedly violating a three-year domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) which she and Ioan took out in August 2022, after enduring a 'smear campaign' of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts from her. Ioan claims that Alice 'engaged in a pattern of damaging and defamatory conduct against me, aimed at intimidating and harassing me and my fiancé, Bianca Wallace, while alienating our two young children from me.' Ioan – whose latest movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die has grossed more than $403 million worldwide – has fought Alice's demands for more money, claiming he's paid some $400,000 more in spousal support than he needed to under their pre-marital agreement. In earlier court papers, he called her claims of poverty 'exaggerated' and said it's a 'false narrative' that she and the children have been left destitute. The former couple met on the set of the movie 102 Dalmatians more than 20 years ago. They fell in love in real life and were married in Mexico in 2007. Ioan filed for divorce in March 2021, shortly after Alice announced on social media that her husband of 14 years was walking out on her and their two daughters.

Who gets what in Denise Richards, Aaron Phypers split
Denise Richards' husband, Aaron Phypers, has filed for divorce from the actress after nearly seven years of marriage. The self-employed businessman cited 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split, Realtor reports. In court documents filed by Phypers, 52, who wed Richards, 54, in 2018 after just one year of dating, he also lifted the lid on their finances. Phypers admitted in the filing that his monthly income is next to nothing, while estimating his estranged wife rakes in around $US250,000 ($A383,000) a month from her OnlyFans account and her on-screen work. According to Fox News, the legal documents also contain information about the duo's spending habits. Phypers stated that their monthly expenses total around $US105,000 ($A160,000). About $US20,000 ($A30,000) is spent on clothing, $US18,000 ($A27,000) rent, $US15,000 ($A23,000) restaurants, $US8,000 ($A12,260) utilities and $US7000 ($A10,700) child care services. The former wellness professional explained he has not been able to contribute to these monthly costs since October 2024, when he was forced to shut down his Malibu health centre, Quantum 360 Club. In his petition, Phypers requested spousal support from the actress — and asked to keep their assets and debts as separate property, including his power tools, motorcycle, and sports car. Although the former lovebirds don't share any children, it was previously revealed that Phypers was in the process of adopting his wife's 14-year-old daughter, Eloise. However, it is unclear whether that application was ever completed. It is also unclear what the former couple's living arrangement will look like after their split — the date of which is listed in the filing as July 4 — having already set up a somewhat unique home situation for themselves long before their marriage began to fall apart. Richards lifted the lid on their unconventional home life during an episode of her reality series, 'Denise Richards and Her Wild Things', in which she stars alongside Phypers as well as her daughters, Sami, Lola, and Eloise At the time, she confessed that her current set up was 'a little confusing,' particularly because she owns a Malibu home that she doesn't actually live in — and had instead handed over to her husband's family to use as their own residence. 'My living situation is a little confusing,' she said. 'I don't live in our [Malibu] house. Aaron's mum and dad and his brother … they were going to stay for a few months, [but] it's been over three years.' Instead, Richards and her family moved into a rented townhouse to get some 'more space.' And such was the appeal of the unit she initially leased that she ended up renting two additional homes. 'I needed some space, so I rented a townhouse,' she said. 'And then I rented another one and another one, so I have three of them.' The former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star explained each of the properties served a different purpose, revealing she and her family were using the abodes almost as though they were rooms in a house. 'One's an office, one's a studio, one's for Lola and Eloise and for us to sleep in, and then when Aaron and I want privacy, then we sleep in the studio,' she said. 'I told Sam and Lola that we can be like 'Melrose Place,' and they're like, 'What's that?'' Although she did not reveal the cost of her multiple rentals, Phypers' divorce disclosures suggest the duo were spending around $US18,000 ($A27,000) a month on housing — which would mean that each of the townhouses costs $US6,000 ($A9,100) to lease. The duo have not yet shared whether Phypers will continue to live in one of the properties, or if his family will be permitted to stay in Richards' Malibu home in the wake of their split. Three months before the news of their divorce broke, Richards' eldest daughter, Sami, lifted the lid on the somewhat turbulent environment inside the family's home. The 21-year-old confessed in April that she and her mother didn't speak for close to a year after she made the decision to move out of the house and in with her father, Charlie Sheen. The model blamed her move on the 'constant' fighting that was going on at her mother's house, admitting that she 'felt like the odd one out' inside the dwelling. 'I was living at my mum's, obviously, with Aaron [Phypers] and Lola, and we were all fighting constantly,' she said during an appearance on Gia Giudice's podcast, 'Casual Chaos.' 'I did not get along with anyone. I kind of felt like the odd one out and being the older sister, the blame was, like, always thrown on me for everything. 'I was really struggling mentally in that house, and there's obviously a lot that I wish I could say, but I'll get in trouble for saying [it].' Sami initially announced her decision to leave Richards' property in a video posted to TikTok. The media personality referred to her mum's abode as a 'hell house' and claimed she had been 'trapped in an abusive household.' In response, an unnamed insider told People magazine that Richards had been struggling to come to terms with her daughter's decision. The former 'James Bond' star believed she had simply been setting 'normal' boundaries for her then-17-year-old child. Richards and Phypers began dating in June 2017, having met for the first time at his wellness centre in Malibu, where the actress was undergoing 'preventative DNA repair,' she later revealed. They quickly struck up a romance and tied the knot in a private ceremony in Malibu just one year later. Prior to his relationship with Richards, Phypers was briefly married to 'Desperate Housewives' star Nicollette Sheridan. They finalised their divorce in August 2018. Meanwhile, Richards had a very highly publicised marriage to actor Sheen from 2002 and 2006, and the duo share two children — Sami and Lola. The actress had previously insisted that she would never get a divorce again while reflecting on her separation from Sheen, admitting that she hated the 'Judgement' she faced after their split. 'The judgment from other people and being made out to be this awful woman, I'll never get divorce, even if we hate each other,' she said.
