Small plane lifted by strong winds at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines; no injuries reported
Strong wind gusts, brought on by Friday's storms in South Florida, picked up a small plane at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, authorities said.
The damage to the plane caused a momentary fuel leak, authorities said.
Emergency crews responded quickly, and no injuries were reported, officials said.
There were no reported injuries.
Police reported several electrical wires knocked down and some homes may be experiencing power outages.
