Wendy's fired first, rolling out a 1-cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger deal this week. That flash offer ends June 1, but it's just the start: the chain's '100 Days of Savings' campaign kicks off June 7, starting with a $1 Dave's Single. Burger King is also bringing the heat. To mark its 71st birthday, it's giving Royal Perks members a free Whopper. The chain will follow up with a BOGO Impossible Whopper offer and themed specials for National Cheese Day, Father's Day, and National Onion Ring Day. McDonald's hours change comes after the company suffered a 3.6 percent sales drop in the first quarter. It's using offers like $5 Meal Deal deals to lure back its customers and plans to hire 375,000 employees by the end of the summer as it extends opening hours. Many will now open until midnight or later — and some going 24/7. Meanwhile, Burger King has suffered a 1.3 percent sales slump in North America, and a major franchisee filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Wendy's, which experienced massive sales increases last year, has also seen sales so far this year drop .1 percent. These fast food chains and more are also expected to be affected by tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump due to ingredients imported from other countries. Dunkin' is also offering a string of items in its new summer menu, and its Rewards members can take advantage of June deals starting on Sunday.
