talabat wins Qatar CSR Award 2025
Tribune News Network Doha talabat, the leading on-demand delivery platform in the MENA region, has been recognised as a winner of the Qatar CSR Awards 2025, following its successful participation as a sponsor of the Qatar CSR Summit, hosted by Qatar University from April 28 to 30. At a gala held on April 30, talabat was honoured with the CSR Award in recognition of its long-standing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility across its operations. The award was given in acknowledgement of key initiatives such as the 'Together for Gaza' and 'Together for Lebanon' campaigns, launched in partnership with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), which raised QR1.1 million in November 2024. Earlier in August 2024, talabat also collaborated with Qatari brand Freshqa to launch an exclusive 'watermelon and feta cheese' product on talabat mart, with 100 percent of proceeds donated to Gaza via QRCS. These efforts further solidify talabat's role as a trusted partner in emergency relief and humanitarian support. Commenting on the award, Francisco Miguel De Sousa, managing director of talabat Qatar, stated:'We are honoured to be recognised among Qatar's leading CSR contributors. Our partnerships with local charities and brands reflect our values and purpose: to use our platform as a driver for good. At talabat, we see this not only as a responsibility, but as a core value in our operations. We remain committed to creating meaningful change and positive impact within our community.'
