Jackknifed tanker truck leads to Hwy 401 closure in Lakeshore
Ontario Provincial Police say they've closed Highway 401 at the County Road 31 overpass in Stoney Point in the municipality of Lakeshore due to a collision investigation. A photograph posted to the West Region OPP Facebook page shows a jackknifed tanker truck crashed through the guard rail at the edge of the road. As of 3:20 p.m. the highway was closed in both directions.

Tanker truck catches fire on Columbus' Northeast Side, closing part of I-270
A tanker truck hauling fuel ran off the road on Columbus' Northeast Side, overturned and caught fire on the afternoon of June 22, according to Columbus public safety dispatchers. The truck driver is in stable condition and was transported to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, a dispatcher said. Black plumes of smoke could still be seen in the afternoon, but the Columbus Division of Fire reported that the fire was contained, according to a dispatcher. More public safety news: 3-motorcycle crash kills man on I-670 on Columbus' East Side, injures another People reported the crash to 911 around 1:40 p.m. As of about 2:15 p.m., all lanes in both directions on I-270 were closed near State Route 161 on the Northeast Side of Columbus. The ramps from State Route 161 to I-270 in that area were also closed. The area may be closed to traffic for hours and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency may need to respond. A person has died after a tanker-truck rolled over in the express lanes on Highway 401 in Mississauga. Kerry Schmidt confirmed to CP24 the express lanes are closed from Mavis Road to Winston Churchill Boulevard in both directions.
