Remy Cointreau Pulls Sales Targets Over Tariff Uncertainty
Remy Cointreau SA withdrew its long-term guidance, blaming uncertainties surrounding tariff policies with the US and China and a stunted recovery in the American market. The Remy Martin Cognac maker, which last month announced that Franck Marilly would take over as chief executive officer, scrapped its targets for the 2029-30 financial year. For the current year, it forecast organic sales growth returning to a mid-single digit rate.

Eurozone's Economic Outlook Picks Up After Tariff Turmoil Abates
Confidence in the economic outlook in the euro area recovered modestly this month as consumers and industry shook off some of the turmoil prompted by the Trump administration's tariff policies in April, a monthly survey published Tuesday said. The European Commission said its Economic Sentiment Indicator edged up to 94.8 this month from 93.8 in April, stronger than the 94.0 expected by economists polled by The Wall Street Journal.

Crocs withdrew its full-year outlook as consumer behavior remains uncertain amid tariff policies after logging higher profit and lower revenue in the first quarter. 'The new global trade environment as well as business and consumer uncertainty, has made it challenging to predict how consumers may respond in the future,' Chief Executive Andrew Rees said.
