Petition to scrap GST on Jersey food hits 1,000 signatures
A petition to remove the goods and services tax (GST) from food has reached more than 1,000 means there will now be a response from Jersey's government after hitting the petition states the cost of living was becoming "very difficult for a lot of islanders" and removing the tax would be a "great help".The deadline for the petition, which runs for six months, is January 31 2026.
