Another commented, "They are all Asian and they got a scholarship to study in America given by America, but American students can't get scholarships when their parents are the one paying taxes. It doesn't make sense to me." A third said, "Americans raise their kids to worship taylor swift and Beyonce while other cultures are raising tech powerhouses and scientists." A fourth added, "All these immigrants making amaerican great." The comments reflect a broader wave of anti-immigrant sentiment, particularly against South Asians, amid debates over skilled immigration and H-1B visas. Taylor Swift Visited a Florida Children's Hospital and Made Everyone's Day
On Friday, Taylor Swift visited Florida's Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, surprising and delighting patients and the entire hospital staff. The Eras Tour star had been seen a day earlier with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, watching the the Edmonton Oilers play against the Florida Panthers at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Swift was solo during her hospital visit, but was captured in a TikTok from creator @sophiestyling0 wearing a green Loewe midi dress and with a pair of brown Louis Vuitton sandals. She could be seen greeting doctors and nurses, smiling and turning around as they applauded the star. Over the clip, the TikToker wrote, 'Here's who I met while I was in the hospital with my son.' Pediatric surgeon Jill Whitehouse also shared photos of Swift's visit on Instagram, writing in the caption, 'Chief of Surgery meets Chief of the World! Undeniably one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Thank you #taylorswift for making dreams come true for all of our patients, families, and staff today!'
