Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold specs just leaked — and it beats Galaxy Z Fold 7 in 2 big ways

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. It wouldn't be a Google Pixel launch if we got to launch day without a near-complete list of everything to expect from the phone. Google's mobile division seems to be as secure as an open window, and now it looks like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold specs have leaked online. The specs come from Android Headlines, who have fast developed a reputation for accurate Pixel leaks. While there's no guarantee these specs are totally accurate, it could give us an idea of what to expect from Google's upcoming foldable. In fact two of these specs actually beat out the newly-announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. All thanks to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's larger battery and better durability. The site claims that the 10 Pro Fold will be increasing the size of the cover display from 6.3-inches to 6.4-inches. However this is apparently down to Google slimming down the size of the bezel and hinge, rather than actually making the phone bigger. That cover screen will also reportedly jump to 3,000 nits of brightness. That's roughly 10% more than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and the same as the Super Actua Display on Pixel 9 Pro. The camera will apparently be staying mostly the same. So expect a 10 Pro Fold to come with a 48MP main camera, 10.5MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. The selfie cameras are reportedly sticking at 10MP on both internal and external screens. Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold (rumored) Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Cover Display 6.4-inch OLED 6.3-inch OLED 6.5-inch AMOLED Inner Display 8-inch OLED 8-inch OLED 8 inches AMOLED Refresh Rate 120 Hz 120 Hz 120Hz Chipset Tensor G5 Tensor G4 Snapdragon 8 Elite RAM 16GB 16GB 12GB/16GB Storage 256GB/512GB/1TB 256GB/512GB 256GB/512GB/1TB Cameras 48MP (main), 10.8MP (ultrawide), 10.5MP (5x telephoto), 2x 10MP (selfie) 48MP (main), 10.8MP (ultrawide), 10.5MP (5x telephoto), 2x 10MP (selfie) 200MP (main), 12MP (ultrawide), 10MP (3x telephoto), 2x 10MP (selfie) Battery 5,015 mAh 4,650 mAh 4,400 mAh Charging 23W (wired), 15W (Qi2) 21W (wired), 8W (Qi) 25W (wired) IP Rating IP68 IPX8 IP48 The battery will apparently grow to 5,015 mAh, a 7% increase over the Pixel 9 Pro Fold's 4,650 mAh and 13% over the Galaxy Z Fold 7. But whether that will translate to better battery life or not is a different matter — and will depend on the phone's power efficiency. Charging speeds are set to jump to 23W wired and 15W Qi2 wireless charging speeds. Naturally the whole thing will be powered by the 3nm Tensor G5 chipset. Top that off with 16GB of RAM, and a choice of 265GB, 512GB or 1TB storage options. It's also claimed that the 10 Pro Fold will come with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating — the first foldable to do so. While we're no stranger to foldables with high water resistance, like the IP48 Galaxy Z Fold 7, foldables typically fall short of their non-folding counterparts in keeping out dust. Apparently Google is going to change that with the highest dust resistance rating currently available. We're closing in on the Pixel 10 launch event now, with rumors suggesting the new phones could launch on August 20. Nothing has been confirmed by Google just yet, but since that date is just over 5 weeks away it's likely we'll find out for sure in the next couple of weeks. Google Pixel leaks won't stop as new Pixel 10 Pro Fold images appear — here's what it looks like

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Earlier this week, Pixel 10 leaks became so prevalent that Google put out an teaser image of its standard Pixel phone, confirming the new flagship model's look. In response, leakers pivoted to the next phone in the upcoming Pixel 10 lineup. Google is expected to reveal the full Pixel 10 lineup on August 20, but today (July 23), Android Headlines has a new set of "official" renders of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The foldable phone renders appear to match previous CAD renderings from OnLeaks that dropped in early April. Image 1 of 2 Image 2 of 2 The new renders reveal the Fold in two colors, Jade and Moonstone, with the Jade hue featuring gold accents. Moonstone is more of a slate blue tint. The previous CAD renders showed the phone off in more of a cream color. Again, it lines up with previous leaks that hinted at green, black, "sterling" and porcelain. Though AH claims the Fold won't be available in black or white. For what it's worth, previous Android Headlines reports on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL showed those two Pro models in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone and Jade. For those expecting anything different from last year's model, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold doesn't look much different from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. We expect the exterior screen to grow a bit from 6.3-inches to 6.4-inches. Other larger components include a slightly bigger 5,015 mAh battery, and a new 1TB storage capacity. Beyond a new Tensor G5 chip, everything else should be the same which might be manufactured by TSMC. Google has announced that its next Made by Google event will will happen on August 20, where we expect to see the Pixel 10 series, plus the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2A. iPhone 17 Colors Leak: Every New Shade, Including Orange For the Pro

The iPhone 17 series is expected to land in the next couple of months, and we may now know what colors you'll be able to buy. According to three different sources, there will be 15 color options available across the iPhone 17 series. This information is all from leakers, so there's no guarantee it will turn out to be accurate. The matching information comes from Majin Bu, Sonny Dickson, and now a source known to Macworld. Macworld's source verified that the iPhone 16 Pro would come in its Desert Titanium color before that phone launched. That's a good sign this source has accurate information. If these leaks are correct, each of the iPhone 17 phones will come in the same standard Black and White versions as the previous handsets. For the standard iPhone 17, you'll have four other options of Green, Light Blue, Purple, and Steel Gray. The phone rumored to be called the iPhone 17 Air, a new addition to the lineup, is set to come in two other colors alongside the Black and White. Those are Light Blue and Light Gold. It's unclear if the Light Blue will match across both this and the iPhone 17, but Macworld's sources claim the Light Blue iPhone 17 Air will be a similar shade to the company's latest new MacBook Air and its Sky Blue version. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are set to come in the same Black and White shades as the iPhone 16 Pro series, alongside three new colors. One of those is Gray, which is a reworked version of Natural Titanium from 2024. The other two are Dark Blue and Orange. This would mark the first time Apple has introduced an orange iPhone. It's something we've seen similar to before with the Coral iPhone XR in 2018 but this appears to be different. Macworld made a render of what this new shade could look like, and the image is looking like a rustier orange rather than a bright color. According to sources speaking to The Information, Apple will be switching from titanium to aluminum for this year's phones. That may be why Apple has decided to opt for these colors. We won't know the iPhone 17 colors for certain until Apple announces them on stage, but that's likely to happen in the next couple of months. Apple often introduces its new iPhone series in early Sept., and it's believed Apple may host its event on the week of Sept. 8.

Pixel 10 Pro XL renders leave us wishing for more fun Pixel 10 colors

TL;DR Renders of the Pixel 10 Pro XL have just arrived to join recent leaks of its smaller siblings. The color lineup for the Pixel 10 Pro XL matches what we just saw from the 10 Pro, to little surprise. Sadly, none of these options are anywhere near as bold as what we're getting from the Pixel 10. Google's next smartphones formally debut in under a month, and based on the breakneck pace new information about these phones has been arriving over the past couple days alone, it's looking like we're going to have a busy few weeks. Already we've not just seen the Google Store start teasing the Pixel 10 launch, but checked out the full line of color options for both the smaller Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro thanks to some leaked renders. Keeping that ball rolling, it's now time for us to get that same kind of preview for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Once again, it's Android Headlines delivering this set of renders, and compared to the Pixel 10 Pro pics we just went over, these look … pretty much exactly the same. We've got the same triple-camera package we saw on the 10 Pro, and like that model, the flash on the right has what appears to be Google's criminally underused temperature sensor below it. But unless we're carefully measuring ratios here, we'd be hard-pressed to tell any of these XL shots apart from some 10 Pro renders. That similarity extends to Google's color options, and the selection we're seeing here is just as — let's be honest — undersaturated and washed-out looking as the Pixel 10 Pro. Indeed, we've got the very same lineup of Moonstone, Obsidian, Jade, and Porcelain. Granted, maybe Rose Quartz aside, it's not like the Pixel 9 Pro or 9 Pro XL have been offering us particularly bold color options, either, and we're really just finding ourselves enamored by the striking Indigo and Limoncello options revealed in those new Pixel 10 renders. Is it written somewhere that 'Pro' fans can't come in 'fun' colors? Does high saturation make products look too toy-like? None of this is really surprising considering what we saw in earlier Pixel 10 color leaks — but that still doesn't mean we have to be happy about it. Got a tip? Talk to us! Google Says ‘Screw It' and Shows Us the Whole Pixel 10

There are a lot of ways to deal with gadget leaks. If you're Apple, maybe a lawsuit is your style, but not everyone is as litigious, and that's okay. Take Google, for example, which responded to Pixel 10 leaks by… just showing us the whole-ass phone. Here's Google's next mobile device in all of its glory, folks: Pixel 10 series sign up page is live on the Pixel Store now. — Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) July 21, 2025The official image, which is live on Google's own site, seems to confirm leaks that show a third camera on the back of the device, which some have speculated is a telephoto camera. There's not much official information outside the short video posted to Google's site, but it's certainly a power move ahead of the phone's expected official launch date of August 20. As we noted last week, Google also often uses its events to announce other products like the Pixel Watch 3, which was unveiled at last year's summer event, or the Pixel Buds 2 Pro wireless earbuds before that. There's a chance that the Pixel Watch 4 or more wireless earbuds will make an appearance later next month as well. And as for the sudden Pixel 10 reveal, the move is surprising, to be sure, but not altogether unprecedented. Google pulled the same thing with the Pixel 9 Pro last year, taking off the wraps just a few weeks before the phone was set to unveil officially. It's hard to say what the Pixel 10 has in store, but as Gizmodo's Consumer Tech Editor Ray Wong noted previously, there will likely be a lot more AI. Google used its I/O developer conference in May to unveil seemingly endless updates to Gemini that may find their way into Pixel devices in some way, shape, or form. For more answers on that, we'll have to wait a few more weeks, I guess. That is, unless Google decides to just up and spoil that surprise, too.
