'Worst kit EVER': Fans hit out at Man City's new third strip for next season after 'shocking' jersey is leaked online
Angry Manchester City fans have brutally mocked their 'montrosity' of a third kit for next season after it was reportedly leaked online. Supporters took to social media to declare it the 'worst kit ever' as pictures circulated on Wednesday. The leaked strip shows a grey and neon green Puma shirt with the Manchester City logo sitting atop in the middle. The base of the shirt is grey, while there are water droplets spread across. The shirt 'features a unique look inspired by rain droplets on a window... creating a highly-textured and eye-catching effect,' according to Footy Headlines, who leaked the kit. The official colours are reportedly 'cool weather' and 'pro green' and moves away from the Manchester club's traditional sky blue look. It is scheduled to be released before the new Premier League season in August. But City supporters have hit out at the leaked kit, with some branding it a 'disgrace'. 'The third kit in no exaggeration is the worst kit I have ever seen,' one moaned on X. 'Away kit looks clean but that third is kit is an absolute disgrace,' another added. One fan wrote: 'The away kit is one of our best of all time, it nearly makes up for the monstrosity next to it.' Another said: 'The third kit is a disgrace. One of the worst kits I've ever seen.' 'That third kit is shocking,' A further fan added. The leaked shirt takes on a similar colour pattern to City's 2022/23 lime green and black stripey kit. One Man City fan brutally hit out at the third kit, which they described as an 'absolute disgrace' Another City fan added: 'That third kit in no exaggeration is by far the worst kit I've ever seen' Pep Guardiola's side wore that strip as they lifted the treble, winning their first ever Champions League and their third consecutive Premier League trophy. City have worn a green kit as their alternative strip for decades. They wore one in 2015/16, which paid homage to the kit they wore in their comeback victory against Gillingham in the 2000 Second Division play-off final, which saw them score two injury time goals and seal a 3-1 victory in the penalty shootout. Their second kit for next season was also leaked and the simple full black look was met more praise by City fans. Meanwhile, Manchester United fans also lashed out a leaked third kit for next season, with Red Devils faithful declaring 'you couldn't pay me to wear it.'

‘Couldn't pay me to wear it' – Man Utd's 2025/26 third kit LEAKED but fans are not happy with design
FANS declared 'you couldn't pay me to wear it' after Manchester United's new third kit was leaked online. The Red Devils are looking to make amends after enduring a miserable campaign both domestically and abroad. 2 Ruben Amorim's misfits floundered to a 15th place finish with just 11 wins. They were then handed a chance at redemption by setting up a Europa League final showdown against fellow strugglers Tottenham, with the winner also securing Champions League qualification. But a turgid performance against the Londoners saw United miss out. And fans are now bracing themselves for a fresh round of expensive summer signings, with £62.5million Wolves forward Matheus Cunha already making his Old Trafford entrance. However, any supporter looking to find solace in United's new third kit will be left sorely disappointed. That's after fellow fans hit out at the latest design for the alternative jersey, which features a bizarre black-and-yellow colour combination. The black shirt is flecked with yellow piping, a yellow club badge and a large yellow Snapdragon logo — possibly evoking images of a giant bumble bee. It was leaked online following United's disastrous post-season tour of Asia, which saw them lose one of their two matches while being subjected to more boos. And fans were quick to hit out at the third jersey's design. One said: 'The worst shirt I've ever seen, couldn't pay me to wear it.' Bruno Fernandes reveals role his wife played in £200m Al-Hilal transfer snub even though Man Utd were ready to cash in 2 Another declared: 'Third shirt for what? We ain't in Europe.' One noted: 'United slowly losing its identity.' Another added: 'F****** ugly.' However, there has been one major boost to morale at United after captain Bruno Fernandes declared he had snubbed a mega-money offer to move to Saudi Arabia. He said: "There was that possibility, the president of Al Hilal called me a month ago to ask 'There was a waiting period on my part to think about what the future would hold. I would be open to it, if Manchester United felt it was my time. "I spoke with Mister Ruben Amorim, who really tried to talk me out of it. I spoke with the club, which wasn't willing to sell, only if I truly wanted to leave. "We never talked about money; that was all handled by my agent, not me. 'I spoke with my family to understand if that was what I wanted for my future. "It was actually my wife who asked me — I never said yes or no. She put my professional priorities ahead of everything else. 'It would have been an easy move. I had Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo there, two people I have a great friendship with. "But I want to stay at the highest level, play in big competitions, because I still feel capable. I want to keep being happy, I'm still very passionate about this sport, and I'm happy with my decision.'
