BMW driver sparks outrage after parking like 'spoiled a**hole' at Sydney Woolworths
A driver behind the wheel of a BMW X1 has caused outrage online after parking inconsiderately at Woolworths. The poor parking job has gone viral on Reddit after the driver did a 'double whammy', parking over two spots in a Direct to Boot bay at Woolworths' Marrickville Metro. In the picture exposing the parking job, it was made clear there was room to park the vehicle in a sensible matter. 'Parked across two spots including the Woolworths Direct to Boot spot,' a Sydney Reddit user said. 'Not in their car. Not collecting anything from Woolworths.' The user added the behaviour was entitled. 'Just a spoiled a**hole in a BMW,' they said. Others online agreed and said the driver should be named. 'Name and shame please. Show the plates to everyone,' one said. 'Noticed lots of people seem to park in Coles Click & Collect and Woolworths Direct to Boot spaces to be closer to the door, without a care for others that actually want to use the spaces as intended,' a second added. 'Pretty sure they know they won't be booked,' another agreed. 'They even moved the Woolworths one further away from the doors. Didn't stop a**holes parking and not getting groceries. Seen it loads of times,' the poster responded. In July 2021, Woolworths launched its Direct to Boot service in Sydney. The service allows customers to order groceries online and pick them up from a designated parking spot, while a team member loads the items into the car. In May 2024, Woolworths introduced 'Direct to Boot Now', allowing orders to be ready in within 60 minutes for a fee of $5 on orders over $50.
