Four men arrested after Brit tourist, 21, ‘filmed having sex in Greece before sharing video'

FOUR men have been arrested in Greece over allegations they filmed a Brit tourist having sex before sharing the video via their phones. Greek cops from Aktio-Vonitsa Police Station conducted the arrests yesterday in the Palairos area. 2 2 The 21-year-old tourist had reported the four men - all of whom are in their 20s - to the authorities following the alleged incident. She had been on holiday in the area at the time. The complainant said that, while she was having sex with one of the men, the other three filmed it and shared it using their phones, has reported. The four men are reported to be aged 20, 22, 23 and 26. A case has been filed against them for violation of personal data. They deny that they distributed the material and claim it was immediately deleted, according to reports. The men were arrested on Saturday, July 26. It comes after another Brit was allegedly raped in the sea off a popular Greek holiday island. The 16-year-old girl reported the alleged assault during a trip with her family. It is reported to have happened in broad daylight at Rhodes' Ialysos beach. The girl claimed she was sexually assaulted while swimming in the sea with a 15-year-old Belgian boy. She told officers the boy allegedly assaulted her in the water twice without her consent. Cops took swift action and arrested the boy at 10pm that same evening. A rape case was filed against him. Another British tourist was also allegedly raped on the Greek island of Corfu. A 19-year-old Italian man was arrested in connection with the incident.

Tourist posing for pictures rips through priceless masterpiece painting

A clumsy tourist fell through a priceless 300-year-old painting while posing for a picture. Security footage from the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, shows the unidentified visitor posing for a photo in front of a 1712 artwork by Anton Domenico Gabbiani. As he tries to mimic the pose in the painting, the tourist suddenly loses balance and falls back against the canvas — tearing a hole near the bottom where the subject's foot is. The painting, which is normally kept at Palazzo Pitti, a separate art gallery, was only temporarily in the Uffizi for an exhibition when disaster struck on Saturday, Corriere Fiorentino reported. The bumbling tourist tripped over a step installed specifically to keep visitors at a safe distance. The tourist was quickly apprehended and formally reported to police, management at the Uffizi told Italian media. He faced charges of damaging cultural heritage, according to the Wanted in Rome outlet. The painting — of Ferdinando de' Medici, the grand prince of Tuscany — has been removed for repairs, a museum spokesperson said. A new crackdown on badly behaved tourists at the world-famous art gallery is being imposed in the wake of the stunt. 'We will set very precise limits, preventing behaviour that is not compatible with the sense of our institutions and respect for cultural heritage,' Uffizi director Simone Verde said in a statement following the incident. 'The problem of visitors who come to museums to make memes or take selfies for social media is rampant,' he added. Saturday's incident is the latest in a recent string of examples of tourists damaging priceless artworks in Italy, causing many in the country to accuse visitors of disrespecting their heritage. Earlier this month, an idiot tourist was filmed damaging a precious work of art after he sat on it to take a picture. The tourist had sat on the delicate chair, adorned with thousands of Swarovski crystals, causing it to crumble beneath his weight. Both the man and his female companion fled, leaving the 'van Gogh' chair art piece by artist Nicola Bolla warped and mangled. 'They ignored every rule of respect for art and cultural heritage,' management at Verona's Palazzo Maffei said on social media, noting that the visitors waited for security to leave the room before the ill-fated photo op. The pair were branded 'superficial' and 'disrespectful' by the museum.

Shocking moment man is mauled by a TIGER after trying to take a selfie with it

This is the shocking moment a man is mauled by a huge tiger after trying to take a selfie with it in Thailand. Alarming video footage shows the excited tourist crouching beside the animal and putting his arm around its back before it pounces on him. The man is knocked onto the ground and can be heard screaming in terror as the tiger's handler desperately tries to wrestle it from on top of him. The trainer tussles with the powerful predator for a few heart-stopping seconds before he's able to subdue it. Earlier in the clip, the tourist could be seen confidently leading the animal by a rope as he strokes its fur - completely unaware of the brutal attack which is about to occur. A video of the incident has gone viral, with viewers taking to the comments section to share their thoughts of what happened. One person wrote: 'Cats usually don't like "being petted on the lower (back) body', 'This man was petting the tiger continuously near the above-mentioned body area, which must have frustrated the tiger. 'The final straw was when the man cupped it for a photo.' Another added: 'The chilling video "exposes a dangerous trend" wherein tourists get "lured into risky photo-ops with tigers in Thailand."' A third said: 'It's not the petting (even though that's also dumb and ill-advised) it's him holding the tiger across its back when he poses for the pic. 'Cats do not like to be restrained. 'The cat could also interpret it as a sign of dominance over it.' Fortunately, the man only sustained minor injuries following the incident at the famous Tiger Kingdom in Phuket. This isn't the only time a tourist has suffered the consequences of trying to interact with a wild animal recently. Earlier this month a hippo knocked down a holidaymaker after she ignored a man's warning not to approach it. Footage shows the enraged beast charging at the woman before using its head to ram her face-first to the ground as bystanders watch on in horror. The person behind the camera can be heard shouting, 'he's going to charge' and telling a child 'this is what you call an idiot' as the woman moves closer to the animal. 'She's not listening,' the child responds as the rotund creature barrels towards her, slamming her into the grass and fleeing the scene in St Lucia on Tuesday night. The cameraman shouts, 'you're stupid' as the stunned woman gets to her feet and staggers away, leaning on a man for support. The video, posted on the Facebook page 'St Lucia News' said there were 'warnings posted all over town' but that 'people still take stupid risks when approaching the hippos'. Another Facebook page, Unofficial: Into the Wild, added: 'Visitors are told by lodge, guesthouse owners, and businesses to stay far back from the hippos. 'But some people just don't listen. They are very lucky they weren't seriously hurt or killed. They have now made a hippo potentially more aggressive to humans by their foolish behavior. Stay back people.' According to local media, the tourists involved were ordered out of St Lucia, and accommodation establishments advised them not to take future bookings from them. 'They were given an hour to vacate town or face law enforcement proceedings,' reported the Zululand Observer.
