"Track condition" snags CTA Red, Purple, Yellow line trains at Howard in Rogers Park
CTA Red, Yellow, and Purple line trains were halted at the Howard Street terminal in Rogers Park Monday evening.
The Chicago Transit Authority provided no immediate information other than that a track condition was to blame.
Bus shuttles have been set up to replace Purple Line service through Evanston to Linden in Wilmette, and Yellow Line service through Skokie, as well as Red Line service from Howard two stops south to Morse.
Further details were not immediately available.
