Hit-and-run between SUV and tractor in Wisconsin leaves one seriously hurt
OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – One person is seriously hurt after a Monday afternoon hit-and-run in Wisconsin between an SUV and a tractor, authorities say. According to a release from the Oconomowoc Police Department, officers responded at 12:56 p.m. for reports of a crash at the intersection of Allen Road and Orchard Circle. The crash involved a Kubota tractor and possibly a dark-colored 2003-2014 Volvo XC90 SUV, which allegedly left the scene and was last spotted on Concord Road and Allen Road. 22-year-old Grand Chute man arrested following alleged road rage incident involving gunshots The driver of the tractor suffered what is said to be serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. Police are asking residents in the surrounding area to check their security footage around the time frame of the incident. An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing, and anyone with any information on the suspect vehicle is asked to contact the Waukesha County Communications at 262-446-5070. A frantic underwater search is underway after a tractor-trailer smashed through a Delaware Memorial Bridge barrier. The single tractor-truck ran off the bridge and plunged into the water at around 3.40am Friday, according to Wilmington officials. The truck and driver have not been found as of 7.30am EST. Police said they have video evidence of the moment the vehicle went into the river. It's not clear if anyone was injured in the incident, as reported by NBC Philadelphia. Officials in New Castle County say the search will affect traffic on the bridge. 'Only two center lanes are open on the DE bound span. Significant delays. Please allow for extra travel time & please drive safely,' officials said on X.

Person trapped beneath overturned tractor near Leyburn is freed
A person was successfully freed after being trapped underneath an overturned tractor, Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) has crews were called to Walden, near Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales, at about 18:30 BST on Tuesday, according to crews, including the air ambulance, as well as fire service and mountain rescue teams, were all involved in the rescue operation.A YAS spokesperson said one patient was taken by helicopter to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough following the incident. "A number of ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene, including an ambulance, team leader and the air ambulance," they Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said its crews from Richmond and Reeth had also attended the scene.A fire service spokesperson said: "Crews released the casualty by lifting the vehicle, allowing access to the casualty to be transferred onto a scoop stretcher. "Mountain rescue teams assisted with transporting the casualty to the awaiting air ambulance, to be taken to hospital for treatment." 19-year-old Wisconsin man seriously injured after crash involving towing tractor
HUBBARD, Wis. (WFRV) – A 19-year-old Wisconsin man suffered serious injuries on Friday night after he was driving eastbound and crashed into a folded disk implement being towed by a tractor. The Subaru driver, a 19-year-old Iron Ridge man, was extricated and taken to a local medical facility. The injuries were serious; however, not life-threatening, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said.
