One driver airlifted to trauma centre following two-vehicle collision in Wellington County
An image of an Ornge ambulance. (CP24 Chopper) One driver was airlifted to a trauma centre with serious injuries following an overnight two-vehicle collision in Wellington County. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Wellington County Road 8 between Wellington Road 17 and Wellington Road 12 was closed for several hours for an investigation. The roads have since reopened. A 24-year-old man from Clifford was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 'The investigation is still in it's early stages, and we are asking the public to contact investigators at 1-888-310-1122 with any dashcam footage or eyewitness accounts,' Const. Matthew Burton told CTV News in an email.

Motorcyclist and e-bike operator taken to trauma centre after separate collisions in Guelph
A motorcyclist and an e-bike operator were taken to a trauma centre in Hamilton after they were involved in separate collisions two hours apart. The Guelph Police Service said emergency services were called to the first crash, at around 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, in the area of Fleming Road and Creekside Drive. They said a motorcyclist lost control and slid into a curb. A 60-year-old Guelph man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injures. Less than two hours later, emergency services were called to a second crash on Elizabeth Street near Duke Street. Police said a 57-year-old Guelph man had been driving an e-bike when he hit gravel, lost control and was thrown over the handlebars. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

15-year-old seriously injured after collision at Mississauga school, police say
One person has been rushed to the hospital following a collision in Mississauga on Monday, May 26. (CP24) A 15-year-old is seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in a Mississauga school parking lot on Monday morning, police say. The incident happened at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School, located on Trelawny Circle. Peel Regional Police say the teen is being airlifted to a trauma centre, noting while his injuries are serious, he is 'conscious and breathing.' The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear at this time, but police said the driver remained on scene. Based on footage taken from CP24 on the scene, what appears to be a bike can be seen wedged underneath a black SUV. Police say the child's parents have been notified of the collision. They did not say if the 15-year-old is a student at the nearby high school. This is a developing story. More details to come…

Man in 30s hospitalized after shooting in North York
Toronto police investigating after a man was shot in North York on Saturday May 25, 2025 (CP24 photo). Toronto police are investigating after a man in his 30s was shot and rushed to a trauma centre late Saturday night. Officials say the incident happened in the area of Sheppard Avenue West and Jane Street shortly after 10 p.m. Toronto police Officers searching for evidence after a man was shot in North on Saturday May 25, 2025 (CP24 photo). When officers arrived, they say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound who was later transported by ambulance. Paramedics tell CP24 the man's condition is believed to be "serious" and possibly 'life-threatening.' Police have not released any suspect description. Anyone with information is asked to come forward as the investigation gets underway.
