According to US President Donald Trump, his wife, Melania, played a big role in turning his point of view against Russia and President Vladimir Putin.
After a series of failed peace talks between Washington and Moscow, Trump confirmed during a press conference on July 14 that Melania Trump was behind uncovering the duplicity of Putin, who has repeatedly embarrassed the White House by saying one thing and doing another.
Trump said while in a press conference in the Oval Office: "I go home, I tell the first lady: I spoke with Vladimir today. We had a wonderful conversation. He added that his wife, Melania, told him: "Really? Another city was just hit."
Many photos emerged on social media showing Melania wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a jacket emblazoned with the logo of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and they nicknamed her "Agent Melania Trumpenko".
In other photos, Melania was seen wearing the Ukrainian military uniform or a dress in the colors of the Ukrainian flag (Blue and Yellow).
"Is Melania Trump Ukraine's secret weapon?" people wrote on X as they praised the First Lady for her great role in supporting Kyiv after Trump's last announcement to halt weapons shipments to Ukraine.
Another person wrote: "Who would have made Trump change his mind about Ukraine, despite the countless flip-flops that characterize his politics? In Kyiv, they have no doubts: it's all thanks to the wife of the American president, who, it is said, deeply distrusts Putin. And so, enter 'Melania Trumpenko'".
