A community has shared their sadness after a woman's body was found by police at a property in Downley, High Wycombe. Emergency services, including police, a helicopter and ambulances, had rushed to the scene at around 5.45pm, on August 14. The body of a woman in her thirties was found. Her death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious and her family have been informed. A Thames Valley Air Ambulance spokesperson said: 'We can confirm that both our helicopter and a Critical Care Response Vehicle were dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near West Wycombe yesterday.' The community had expressed concern about what had happened, and residents were unsure of the circumstances which had brought the large emergency service presence. "We have a neighbourhood watch group and people have been wanting to know what happened, some residents posted videos. "There's been a lot of things with police coming down here these past few years." Another resident added: "It was concerning, such a large presence on our doorstep. "We would like to know what happened." Yesterday morning, August 15, police remained at the scene. Police on Wyatts Close, High Wycombe (Image: NQ) In the afternoon, a Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: 'At around 5.45pm yesterday (14/8), we were called to a sudden death at a property in Wyatts Close, High Wycombe. 'Sadly, the body of a woman in her thirties was found. "Her family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with the family at this extremely difficult time. 'The death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.' The community reacted with sadness. One resident said: "It's very sad. "It's obviously a proportionate response if someone was very unwell. "I just feel sad that people were speculating about it all." Another resident added: "I was here smoking so I saw the ambulance come and I heard the helicopter too. "I had no idea what happened, but I thought it must be something serious. "I didn't speak to anyone about it. "It is really sad this happened. "I am really sorry to hear about it."

Man in 60s dies ‘unexpectedly' in Orpington

A man in his 60s has died unexpectedly in Orpington. Emergency services were called to Knoll Rise in Orpington. A man in his 60s was found unconscious, he was later pronounced dead at the scene. Metropolitan Police has confirmed that his death is being treated as 'unexpected'. A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: 'At 09:30hrs on Sunday, 08 June, police were called to Knoll Rise, Orpington. 'On arrival, they found a man in his 60s unconscious and despite efforts from officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, he was pronounced dead. 'His death is being treated as unexpected, and file will be prepared for the coroner. "His next-of-kin have been informed."
