Latest report contradicts previous rumors about vivo V60's launch date and OS
Last week, we heard that the vivo V60 will launch in India on August 19 with OriginOS, making it the first vivo smartphone in the country to run Funtouch OS instead of OriginOS, which is currently China-exclusive. A new report contradicts those leaks, claiming that the vivo V60 will debut in India on August 12 and run Funtouch OS based on Android 16. Additionally, the source claims that the vivo V60 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC and have UFS 2.2 storage onboard without specifying the storage capacity. The smartphone will feature a 6.67" 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED display with 1,300-nit peak brightness. vivo V60's leaked renders The vivo V60 is said to have four cameras - a 50MP selfie camera on the front and a triple camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary, a 50MP periscope telephoto (3x optical), and an 8MP ultrawide unit. Other rumored specs of the vivo V60 include a 6,500 mAh battery, 90W charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The smartphone is also rumored to have IP68 and IP69 ratings and is expected to be priced between INR37,000 and INR40,000. A recent rumor claimed that the vivo V60 will launch in India on August 19, and it will be the first smartphone in the country to run OriginOS, which has been exclusive to China thus far. Today, we are looking at the leaked renders of the V60, which reveal its design. vivo V50 The source who leaked these renders claims that the vivo V60 will be available in three colors - Mist Grey, Auspicious Gold, and Moonlit Blue. However, the images only show the gold and blue models. vivo V60 The vivo V60 resembles the China-exclusive vivo S30, except that it features the ZEISS logo on its camera island, indicating that the V60's cameras were co-developed with ZEISS. vivo S30 The source claimed that the vivo V60 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a quad-curved display, a 6,500 mAh battery, and 50MP cameras.
