Lane Kiffin's Stunning Daughter, Presley, Goes Viral For Volleyball Photo
Lane Kiffin's Stunning Daughter, Presley, Goes Viral For Volleyball Photo originally appeared on The Spun. While Lane Kiffin is gearing up for another college football season, the daughter of the Ole Miss Rebels head coach is getting ready for a season of her own. Presley Kiffin, the daughter of Lane and Layla Kiffin, is a college volleyball player at USC. Lane Kiffin, of course, coached at USC from 2010-13, before getting fired. His daughter, Presley, announced her commitment to Southern Cal back in 2024. "I am beyond grateful to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Southern California. A huge thank you to the USC coaching staff for this amazing opportunity. I want to thank all my coaches, family, friends, and especially @mizunolongbeach for their incredible support and guidance throughout the past couple years. So excited be a Trojan! FIGHT ON❤️💛," she announced on Instagram. Presley Kiffin, a Class of 2025 recruit, is hoping to make an impact for the USC Trojans during the upcoming season. Presley Kiffin, who is from Long Beach, California, played in high school and at the club level. She played for Mizuno Long Beach at the club level while attending Mater Dei at the high school level. The USC Trojans are currently gearing up for their 2025-26 season. Presley Kiffin turned heads in a sizzling volleyball photo alongside her teammates. Lane Kiffin must be a very proud father to have a daughter who is not only smart enough to attend USC, but also athletic enough to play for one of the top volleyball schools in the country. The Ole Miss Rebels head coach will surely be busy with football this fall, but the veteran college football coach is definitely going to be very interested in the USC Trojans' 2025-26 women's volleyball season, as well. We look forward to watching her play this year. Small-town kōtiro Jada Jelinek chasing volleyball dreams in Canada
Jada Jelinek sold paintings and homemade pies with fillings donated by the community to fundraise for the volleyball tournament in Canada Photo: supplied Dedication and determination is what it took for Jada Jelinek to make the under-18 Aotearoa Māori volleyball team. Following a trial in September 2024, she was one of three South Islanders selected to represent their culture and wear the tino rangatiratanga flag on their playing kit. "Following various boot camps and training sessions, our teams and individual players have significantly strengthened, preparing us to compete together," Jelinek said. Aotearoa Māori Poirewa - NZ Māori Volleyball teams compete internationally against other indigenous sides. The under 18 and under 20 wāhine and tāne teams are currently in Canada preparing for the inaugural All-Nations Indigenous Volleyball Showcase which begins on 25-28 July. Held at the Van Vliet Complex, University of Alberta, the tournament facilitates both competition and cultural exchange. "I have always wanted to travel, this is the perfect opportunity to explore the world and become more open-minded about what I want to do in the future. "To experience the culture and norms of Canada, we also plan to attend a National Football League game in Edmonton and participate in other activities to appreciate the local indigenous cultures." And Canada is far from her norm. Jelinek comes from Tapawera, a township of around 370 people located 76-km southwest of Nelson. She is a year 12 student at the Tapawera Area School, a school of just under 60 students from new entrant level to year 13. However, the school still manages to pull together a volley team which consists of rangatahi from year 9 - 13. There, Jelinek made the South Island Area Schools team and now, Aotearoa Māori Poirewa. The tournament, too, offers scholarship opportunities which Jelinek aimed to take up in her final year of school. Nebraska football players humiliated by Cornhuskers women's volleyball team at impromptu scrimmage
Nebraska football players' dreams of volleyball glory will have to wait another year after a humbling defeat to their national-powerhouse classmates in Lincoln. As revealed on Cornhuskers volleyball star Harper Murray's TikTok page, the highly rated Nebraska women once again beat the boys from the football team at a summer scrimmage. Both teams are going through summer practices in Lincoln, and just as they did last season, the two groups decided to kill some downtime with an impromptu game at the Devaney Center. And as was the case last summer, the Cornhuskers women lived up to their reputation despite some impressive athleticism from the Nebraska football players. In addition to quarterback Dylan Raiola, 6-foot-5 pogo stick Quinn Clark was also involved and proved to be formidable at the net. 'We about to put on a show,' one football player said beforehand. 'Show these girls how we really get down.' Ultimately, though, Murray said the two sides 'weren't even close.' Raiola, considered an NFL prospect, may have gotten the worst of it. Not only was he on the receiving end of several huge spikes, but the son of former NFL center Dominic Raiola was further embarrassed on an ace by Murray. The Cornhuskers football team was 7-6 last season, but just 3-6 in the Big Ten. Third-year head coach Matt Rhule helped Nebraska finally return to a blow last season, beating Boston College, but the Cornhuskers are widely projected to be a middling team in the conference this season. Nebraska women's volleyball recently bid farewell to legendary coach John Cook, who will be replaced by former Louisville head coach Dani Busboom Kelly this season. Regardless, the Cornhuskers are once again expected to complete for a national championship, which they haven't won since 2017. Nebraska was conference champion again last season before reaching the NCAA Tournament semifinals.
