In that spirit, it is time to reaffirm the policy on publishing vulgarities in The Wall Street Journal. In short, we won't spell out vulgarities, even if an important person says them. Instead, such cases call for a long dash: s—, bulls—, a s— storm, and as always, f— or f—ing.
