World Games: wakesurfer Harry Cheng wins Hong Kong's fourth medal in Chengdu
Hong Kong secured its fourth World Games medal in Chengdu on Sunday, as Harry Cheng Chun-hin took bronze in the men's wake surf skim event.
Jett Lambert of the United States took gold, scoring 85 points from the judges, while China's Zhuang Tiancai was second with 65.67.
Cheng scored 59 points, just two more than fourth-place Thai athlete Bm Jomboon, to claim bronze.
'Cheng claiming a medal in his debut on the world stage speaks volumes about Hong Kong's growing prowess in water sports,' said Wong Po-kee, chef de mission of the Hong Kong delegation.
The city's medal count now stands at four, after Hong Kong athletes won three golds on Friday and Saturday.
