Brewers fans have more than burgers on their mind after second 10-game streak
The sold-out pocket pancake Sunday brunch at American Family Field Aug. 10 included a Milwaukee Brewers' walk-off victory over the New York Mets and a sweep of the series.
Their 10th straight win on Aug. 11 as the Crew began a three-game set against the Pittsburgh Pirates was far less dramatic, but still mouthwatering for Brewers fans.
Three weeks after their 11-game winning streak ended on July 22, the Brewers are in position to accomplish the same feat. The Brewers are the first team since 2019 to win at least 10 games in a row twice in a season.
Talk of free George Webb burgers is firing up again – which will occur if the Brewers win 12 consecutive games – but all this sizzle during a current 29-4 stretch has the topic of October already on the front burner.
