How Hamas Fools the World
Regarding 'Kill Jews, Get Your Own State' (Review & Outlook, Aug. 6): Hamas has perfected the war-crimes playbook on how to win antisemitic friends and influence useful idiots: Deliberately kill civilians, launch missiles at civilians, kidnap civilian hostages, build tunnels with resources intended for civilian structures, use civilians as human shields, hide in civilian schools and hospitals, disguise yourself in civilian clothing, loot trucks with aid meant for civilians and refuse to negotiate a cease-fire to relieve civilian suffering.
In response, Western leaders are once again calling for the so-called two-state solution that will magically usher in lasting peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. Never mind that Hamas is hell-bent on a 'final solution.' Last year when Saudi Arabia's Al Arabiya network asked Hamas official Ghazi Hamad whether he accepted co-existence with Israel, he replied: 'No, no. We never said that we accept the two-state solution. [Israel] is an occupier. How can we possibly accept it?'
