Police seek information after suspicious death in West Kelowna
Cindy Walsh is seen in this image handed out by the B.C. RCMP. Mounties in West Kelowna are asking the public for information after a woman was found dead in the city over the weekend. Police say they visited a local home to perform a wellness check on 57-year-old Cindy Walsh Saturday, but she was deceased. The RCMP are treating the death as suspicious and the Southeast District major crime unit has taken over the case. 'We're asking anyone who knew Cindy Walsh or may have seen her during the month of April to contact (police),' said Staff Sgt. Jason Smart with the SED MCU, in a statement Monday. 'Even something seemingly minor could assist investigators in determining what led to her death.' The unit can be reached at 1-877-987-8477.
