Car torched outside home as police probe deliberate attack
A car has been deliberately torched in what police are describing as a "wilful fire." Emergency services rushed to an address on Abronhill, Cumbernauld, at around 2.30am Saturday, August 2. A Nissan X-Trail was destroyed in the blaze outside the home on Spruce Road, which police believe was an act of wilful fire-raising. 'Our enquiries are at an early stage, and I urge anyone who was in the Spruce Road area around 2.30am on Saturday, who witnessed anything suspicious, to contact us. 'I would also appeal to anyone driving in the area with a dash-cam or anyone nearby with personal footage to please check their recordings and get in touch if it holds anything relevant. Man appears in court over 'gang feud' salon fire in Leith
